Who is your favorite background character on the show? I still can't stop laughing whenever salesman Gil shows up.

Fox has psted a survey re: The Simpsons DVD. They are actually asking the fans what they want to see!
Please take the poll and pass it around!

Disco Stu, of course.

The Sea Captain:
Lisa - "How could you not see that boat?"
Sea Captain - "Aye, two glass eyes."

Comic Store Guy is without a doubt my fav. As stuck up and snobby as the owner of the local store.

You'd think the guy would want to help me if I wan't to know where something is. Every time I go in I buy something. Now he gets an attitude when I talk to him.

Not to incite any flames here, but Christianity Today (Jan 2001) magazine had an excellent cover story about Ned Flanders and how he's probably the most positive, realistic portrayal of a Christian on TV today (maybe outside of 7th Heaven). The article is also on their web site at http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2001/002/1.28.html . Very good read, if you're interested.
