Getting interesting. Anyone know how the two part final is structured?

Still think Steve is the man (mole).

I thought it was going to be pretty hokey, but a friend suggested I watch it. I actually find it quite entertaining. Basically, they screw with these people's heads for an hour.

I wouldn't go too far out of my way to watch it, but it's a really neat premise (thank you Tivo!).

Can someone post a summary of last night's show. I forgot to set my Tivo to tape it. I am just looking for who got booted and how that the lawyer woman got hurt. I couldn't tell from the promo how and if she actually got hurt.

I've been watching the mole for a while...

At first it looked relatively normal, but now it is growing at a faster rate, and changing shape and color. I think it might have to be removed...

Now if they really killed them and were able to take a guess at who was the mole from the get go, it would be interesting...

Now if they all had guns and were running in the forest, THAT WOULD BE ENTERTAINMENT!!

Spoiler:
They had a challenge where they each had to vote for who they wanted most to stay and who they wanted to go. Steven was the favorite to stay, so it was his job to convince the others to perform some dangerous task while blindfolded. Kathryn was to stand against a wood door and have a professional knife thrower launch one at her. While Steven was still talking her into it, she fainted.

Anyway, the idea was that if one of the 3 did their task, the person who did it got immunity. If 2, they got $60k, and if 3, $60k and Steven gets immunity. If 0, Steven gets immunity, but no money.

The gimmick was that they didn't actually have to perform the task. The knife thrower didn't really throw the knife...he just ran up beside her and planted it in the door. And Jim, who had to walk on hot coals, actually walked on unlit charcoal. But they didn't know that, since they were blindfolded.

Anyway, all 3 of them do the tasks, so Steven gets immunity, and Charlie gets the boot (finally!).

There was also a challenge before this one, but it wasn't all that exciting.

I have watched the Mole from day 1. It is very interesting. The "challenges" they have to do are very intersting. Some are fun and comical. While others require physical ability and/or brain power.
Yes the music and host are cheesy. But once you get beyond that the show has steadily gotten more intriguing.

So instead of debating are you watching the Mole? Lets talk about who is the Mole?

I've been watching from the begining!!

I love the show and would have given you 100 reasons why I thought it was Charlie!!!

I'm going to have to go with that Mole Guy - Jim!!! The most obvious one.

(What's up with blacking out last night's episode in the post above )

Some people (like me) have Tivo or the like and don't always watch it right away. Thus, no spoilers. I saw it last night, however. I think Jim's the mole. I'm probably wrong, though. I thought Charlie was for quite some time now.

Alright I've been watching from the beginning (although not as good as Survivor or Temptation Island) it is good.

Here is one thing I don't get. The "pact" between Jim and Steve?! So if they did this from the beginning, every questionarre to eliminate someone by "guessing who the mole is" they would be answering it with someone other than the two of them. Right?! So if it is one of the two of them I don't see how the other made it this far by answering the "mole" questions with answers other than their "partner". So with that said the obvious choice would be Kathryn as the Mole. But that is too obvious?! with this reasoning?
It doesn't really make sense.

Question about the mole...

So they vote people off the show like on Survivor right? What if they voted off the Mole on episode one?

No they get "executed". Each week they all take a quiz of 20 questions about the mole and what they did over the past few days in DETAIL. And the person to get the fewest right gets kicked off.

I got in a few episodes late, but I love The Mole. I enjoy it more than any of the other reality TV shows because its about playing a game and not just being voted off because you annoy your tribe because you're a vegetarian.

The Mole is my favorite "reality" show. With shows like Survivor, Big Brother and Temptation Island it is easy to figure out who will go next but just when you think you know who the "mole" is that person gets executed from the show.

I kinda think the "mole" is Steve but that just seems too obvious.

My reasons:

His profession makes it too obvious
He has everyone's trust
He contributes to every lost challenge yet is never suspect

Kathryn always jokes that he is the "mole" yet she as well as everyone else trusts him more than any other.

I would be surprised if he isn't the "mole" yet I have been surprised with every show so far so who knows.

I enjoy the show, too. It's the only "reality" show I bother to watch and it's fun trying to figure out who is the mole. So far the people that I thought were possible candidates have been eliminated. I didn't think Charlie was it because he was too gruff and too genuinely angry whenever something was muffed up.

Several weeks ago I felt that the mole might be a woman, and there's just one left. Steve would almost seem too obvious. For that challenge in the last show when he was voted as someone that would be ideal to stay, I wondered if he was really voted on or if it was "rigged" since it also took him out the execution. Jim could be it because I find him quite personably, yet also slippery in a way.

I like the Mole as well. A lot of it is manipulated to cast doubt on each participant but that's OK. It's better than most of what's on TV.

I have been watching it since a few weeks in. I think Jim is the mole. (I didn't think it was Charlie... he seemed genuinley upset at some things awhile back).

For that challenge in the last show when he was voted as someone that would be ideal to stay, I wondered if he was really voted on or if it was "rigged" since it also took him out the execution.
I don't think so. Kathryn admitted during her thing that she did put him first (because she thought he was the mole, but she still did put him first).
