I watched as well and these were really good episodes. You don't need a lot of backstory to understand what's going on and Maul comes off as a bad ass. I'm in!

Animation is where Star Wars shines these days in my opinion. This was great. I thought it felt different and in its own corner of the galaxy compared to other Star Wars shows/movies. A cops and mobsters kind of show with Maul as one of the heads who’s out for revenge.

Feels like they made up for what the Book of Boba Fett should have been.

This show is so damn good. I feel like this is what we should've been getting from Disney the past several years. Even the comedy doesn't skew unnecessarily childish. Maul is the villain the universe has needed since they neutered Kylo.
Love it.

Episode 5, the Empire arrives. Mostly an establishing episode.
Episode 6, holy shit! Marrok in the house, Maul and his would be new apprentice fighting Marrok, Marrok reporting in to...

Yes episode 6 was awesome. So Vader or the Emperor?
My only complaint is this is going to be over so fast! I hope the second season isn't a long wait.

OK, maybe I’ll give this show a spin. I wanted to hear some solid feedback first. But, OK, I’m in and will dive in.

That was an incredible hour of TV! There are still consequences of actions in the Star Wars Universe. I had to make sure I was breathing during the fight sequence(s) in the second episode. They've made me root for Maul, which wasn't difficult cause I general root for the bad guy, but just at the appropriate moment he subtly shows who he really is.
Damn this was good!

If Filoni is going to give me this kind of stuff.. I'm not too worried about the future. The last two episodes of this was better than the last 2 movies.

I have to be honest, while well done, the first 8 episodes seemed a little pointless to me, but those last two episodes... HOLY SHIT!
EDIT: I didn't really know anything about Darth Talon before reading up, so that gives me a little more idea what this series is doing.
