Deadline reports that Ed Weeks has been cast as the lead in the pilot for Eternally Yours​​​​​​. The actor, who is best known for his role as Dr. Jeremy Reed on The Mindy Project, will play a character named Charles. The pilot is set to begin filming in early 2026. After filming and editing is complete, a decision will be made on whether to pick up Eternally Yours to series.

. The story centers on Charles as one half of a longtime vampire couple that's trapped in an endlessly strained marriage to Liz, which has been going on for five centuries. Although he was a noble in the Middle Ages, Charles is a weary bureaucrat these days. He relocates his family every couple of years to work around the fact that none of them actually age.
