Hats off to the editors of this show. I was 100% convinced Shauhin was going home this episode. Even the sideways glances at Tribal indicated he was getting blindsided. No idea how or why the vote turned like it did. I’ve been faked out before, but this time was especially impressive.

I got to thinking today, maybe we should up the ante/prize about for the 50th Season next year. Or figure out some other alternate prizes (guessing the final three? guessing the first person out? etc.). Just something to mull over - we have lots of time to decide, as well as see if anyone would be interested in extra investment/extra rewards.

I’m reporting late because I was at a hockey game last night and then I watched The Amazing Race first because of tonight’s finale.

Anyway, sorry Decker, thanks for playing and you also had the misfortune of being at the same VGK playoff game.

My pick Mitch is likely to be eliminated next. If he survives and reaches the F3, he will be a 0-vote getter.

I am hoping for a bitter jury, and Mitch to pull a Gabler-style win.

Entirely off topic, but I have to ask: has the sand that is omnipresent on all the cast members' faces been digitally applied? Because I know that if I had sand on my face, I'd wipe it off at the first opportunity.

If it HAS been added digitally, the producers need to cut that crap out ASAP.

He's the wild card - the vote you need to get in the next tribal as Kamila and Kyle are voting together and Joe and Eva are voting together - and Eva's either playing her idol or (if she wins immunity) giving it to Joe. It would be interesting to see what happens in a final five tribal where we know neither Eva nor Joe are getting voted out.

I have to confess, I thought Shauhin was going to make the final four - I was shocked he got voted out.

Whooo-hoo!! I thought Eva had it for sure after her speech. Even though I thought the others' game was better, her speech was SO much better than the guys. We wondered if there was quite a bit of footage on the editing floor not showing us why everyone voted Kyle. Maybe it's Camilla's words to the group behind the scenes...?

P.S. I'm totally open to upping the entry fee for the 50th as well as adding other prizes. That said, I don't want to have fewer people participate because the price of entry goes up. Sometimes it's already touch-and-go to fill the draft, but maybe it'll be different for that season...?

The Survivor game will return in the fall for season 49 and next spring for season 50 which has already gotten more hype than the fall season. Season 50 will be an all star season with a cast to be announced Wednesday on CBS mornings.

also if anybody has any opinion on increasing the entry fee or adding a consolation prize for being the first out, post here or send me a PM.
