S3 hits Feb 20th

Looks like season 3 will be based on the Persuader novel.

I hope they're not spending the whole season on sitting in diners.

Enjoyed the first season. How noticeable was the drop in quality for season 2, as the somewhat lukewarm responses I heard from those who watched it was enough for me to decide not to continue with it at the time. Was it a disappointment or really not that bad?

It was a noticeable drop in quality. Much more ridiculous at times. It still has it's charm but I'm hoping the story is a little more grounded this time.

Considering that's a setting 85% of the time in the Jack Reacher books, you might be disappointed.

I've done that arm wrestling trick on someone before. It was funny.

I think if I was able to binge them like it was intended rather than the one a week it may have been better. I believe I was pretty critical of season 2 and did not enjoy it as much.

The reaction to season 2 was definitely very mixed here. Some liked it early on and there were those who caught up with it later on that really didn’t like it. I think there were some who hated the team up aspect and missed Reacher being the lone wolf from season 1.

I binged S2 and didn't think it was nearly as good as S1, but still thoroughly enjoyed it's over-the-top everything.

S2 required way too much suspension of disbelief. You also had to ignore Reacher and his team murdering people and stealing tons of money.

I was one of the ones that didn't like season 2 but will be there day 1 for season 3 regardless.

I’ll have to go back and read my comments from the season 2 thread but I recall the dialogue to be pretty terrible in the first few episodes but getting better as the season went on. I also recall the final episode becoming cartoony at the end. Overall I enjoyed it though.

Season 3 looks like it’s going to be a hell of a fun ride! Can’t wait.

Very cool that they dropped 3 episodes for this today. Wasnt even aware it was coming out today until a day or so back when I stumbled across a trailer! Looking forward to more of this show and IMDB is showing a 4th season!

Yeah I was like WTH but that started with the record store. It all seemed off.

I'm debating whether to wait until all of the episodes are released before watching. I'm tempted to start right away, loved S1 and enjoyed S2 despite its drop off.
