This is also Billie’s fourth appearance as a musical guest (in seasons 45, 47, 49 and 50). She did double duty in her second appearance.

I doubt it can happen given the restraints of live TV, not to mention actor availability, but a sketch with Beetlejuice meeting David S. Pumpkins would be great.

Too bad they have Dana Carvey doing Joe Biden. Keaton could probably do it without any makeup.

Really looking forward to this one, I'm a big fan of the host and a casual fan of the musical guest.

Keaton is cool and liked Knox Goes Away.

I assume Eilish will perform "Birds of a Feather" a song you hear all the time on the radio.

That Mikey Day sure can play the ukulele.

Keaton couldn't stand still during the monologue and the closing - like he was very nervous.

Put Sarah Sherman on WU every episode.

Yeah and he wasn’t really playing but shhhh I want to see if Dooku’s head blows up when he reads that.

That would work as a pre-recorded bit. Probably even better since they could take more time to do the Beetlejuice make-up.

Maybe Samberg wants to come back on the show since he has done a lot of stuff so far this season.

Is Alec Baldwin forgiven now?

They messed up during the Trump songs and it is "November Rain' and not "Cold November Rain."

Show needed more Chloe Fineman and maybe they mailed it in since it was the 4th straight week of new episodes and anticipating the break next week.

I imagine that like Carvey, Samberg has agreed to be in NYC and available to be on the show for these first several weeks, and so they are going to use him somehow.

Random thoughts:
1) Keaton's bouncing back and forth during the monologue was very distracting. If you don't eat your meat, how can you have any pudding?
2) When the post-monologue sketch is a re-tread idea like that "the QVC product looks sexual" bit, it's not a good sign to me.
3) No one frowns funnier than Kenan.
4) Emil Wakim on WU had me rolling my eyes asking WTF he was talking about.
5) Neither of Eilish's songs did anything for me, but I love her voice. I wish she would record covers of songs I already like.
6) PDD came back strong.
7) Sarah calling Colin a perv will never not be funny.
8) I'll have to watch that Tik Tok montage again ( and again) to catch it all. Too fast for my old white guy brain!

I assumed he was being sarcastic about the playing - and just got the cast member wrong.

Yeah, it wasn't great. He started off ok, but then he kept going on and on about the whole Arab thing and it was just too much.

It was great to Alec Baldwin return to the show.

Yeah, I noticed that as well. And was it my imagination, or did the caption on the screen at the beginning of the "ukulele sketch" initially say "Detriot" before being quickly changed to "Detroit"? (I was watching live OTA so it may have been fixed in re-broadcasts, etc.)

Yeah, did anyone else not notice that he said he has a new movie coming out, and then said it was "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice"?

And how he called them all out as quoting the first film and having them admit they hadn’t seen the second one?

Nope, you're not insane, that really happened.

The difference here is that even if this was an honest mistake, you knew the name of someone on the show. Before you were claiming that learning these people's names was beyond your capability.

He skipped over the part of the cue card that said: I have a new movie coming out ON MAX . . .

Lol that’s not what I claimed. Thought we could have a laugh about it now. Nevermind obviously.

Episode wasn’t great. I’m not a big fan of the sweaty balls type sketches. Sarah Sherman on update was the highlight. Even the Please Don’t Destroy video was mid.

Oh well. Hasn’t been a bad Mullaney episode yet I don’t think,

Too bad they are off next weekend and could not do a spoof of Trump at McDonalds cooking fries.
