Damn. This is a real shame. He was great in everything I saw him in.

I’m more aware of his earlier work. He was wonderful in Glory and The Tuskegee Airmen.

He’ll be missed.

Awful news. He was so damn good in everything. Det. Frank Pembleton one of the greatest characters in TV thanks to his riveting work.

I loved him as an actor. The first thing I remember seeing him in was actually Striking Distance (1993) as the district attorney. He made even a small role like that memorable.
