This is what I was thinking. Why not just show him as he looks today especially given what admittedly little we know about the World Between Worlds.

Actually, it would have been funny if they just did all of the WBW stuff in 3D like in CW and Rebels. Right?!

Is there a write up or quick video I can watch to better understand what's going on with Ezra and Thrawn? How the hell did Thrawn get to a different galaxy and why? Why does Sabine think Ezra is there with him and still alive?

There are multiple 5-15 minute catchup videos on YouTube. Or watch the last 5 episodes of Rebels S4.

The last 5 episodes would do it? That'd be fine; I just didn't want to have to watch all the seasons.

If you have the time I would watch the last 2 episodes of season 2 "Twilight of the Apprentice" and at least read the recaps (better yet watch) for season 4 episodes 9-11 (Rebel Assault -> DUME) and then watch the rest of season 4 starting with episode 12 "Wolves and a Door".

Thanks. I also just remembered that I bought but never got around to reading the first book in the Thrawn trilogy(?), Thrawn Ascendancy. I'll have to look up to see where in the timeline that takes place compared to what we're seeing in this show.

Likely because it didn't actually happen.
I think Rob somehow confused the two or three notes of the Imperial March theme they played at the very end, with Vader breathing noises.

you are correct. I guess I transposed Vader's theme with him breathing. My bad. I watch shows with subtitles often and I must've read that as "Vader breathing".

An interesting theory on who Marrok was. I can buy this theory.
Spoiler:
The petrified Eighth Brother held together by Night-sister Magic.

It doesn't matter. He's dead.

Maybe we'll get an entire show dedicated to him?

Anyone have an idea why the show writers effectively Voldemorted Kanan? Seems very odd that four episodes into this show, none of characters have mentioned him. Super weird in Hera's case! When she was pleading her case for support from New Republicans she was saying that "she's lost people in the war." No mention of her former love/father of her child; just people.

I think because Freddie Prinze Jr. is pretty much done with the character and wanted nothing to do with the show. I believe he did ROS as a favor and was done. Its a shame because Ahsoka is far superior to ROS.

He doesn't own the character and it's not like he needed to be the person playing the live-action version.

Yeah, I'm not wanting a flashback cameo from the Fresh Prinze. I'm just confused as to why nobody has mentioned his name, considering he sacrificed himself to save all their lives, and is the father of Hera's child. Seemingly someone worth a quick mention at least.

Hera has his picture on the dash. Maybe he'll have some sort of appearance.

He died about 10 years ago. If you had a relative die 10 years ago, do you necessarily mention their name every single day?
