Echoes (Netflix) -- S: Michelle Monaghan, Matt Bomer -- Premieres 8/19/22
Echoes is a mystery thriller about two identical twins, Leni and Gina, who share a dangerous secret. Since they were children, Leni and Gina have secretly swapped lives, culminating in a double life as adults: they share two homes, two husbands, and a child but everything in their perfectly choreographed world is thrown into disarray when one of the sisters goes missing. Another Netflix limited series. Looks like this is a Australian co-financed show. |

Did anyone watch this? I watched the first two episodes. I don't think I'm going to stick with it.

My mother watched and finished it last week and she really liked it. She said it's self contained.

I'm trying to get through it. Only reason I would finish it is because I love me some Michelle. The story is just too over the top...

I made it to 15 minutes into episode 2. The show is boring, clichéed and amateurish.

I still have the last episode to watch but I sort of warmed up to it after the first few episodes. The "pretending to be both sisters" story was extremely ridiculous but luckily it didn't last long. It's probably not a great sign when you spend 2 of the 7 episodes explaining the entire story and even after that, it's still a little confusing as to who is who and what happened to each. I do think Monaghan gives a good performance though. Not great but also not a complete waste of time imo

Re: Echoes (Netflix) -- S: Michelle Monaghan, Matt Bomer -- Premieres 8/19/22
I really liked the first episode but it makes me nervous it has such a low rating on IMDB I enjoyed the twist at the end and am curious where it will lead but from what I am reading above even7 episodes is too much for the story. :( Will likely give it a try at some point when I have a bit of free time. Always had a thing for Michelle M.

^^ Don't... It's trash. I watched this for my wife's sake because I always pick them shows (granted, they're always good shows and she agrees :))... but this show was garbage. I cannot believe Monaghan made this drivel. It's preposterous and boring and insulting.
