Seems insane. Just saw a casting call for Lioness near DC, that's about to start shooting. I don't get how he juggles all these projects.

Most likely he has several key employees/personnel around who he delegates most of the mundane tasks to.

Ones he trusts implicitly with his vision and passion.

1883, 1932, and now Bass Reeves are technically part of the same universe.

This reminds me of the debates over whether or not Rockstar game's Red Dead and Grand Theft Auto series are in the same universe. Doubtful, but you never know. While he obviously doesn't have the time, I think it would be cool if Sheridan found time to consult on a new Red Dead game like George RR Martin did with Elden Ring.

Re: The Taylor Sheridan shows on Paramount + thread -- News, Rumors and More

Nicole Kidman has joined the cast of Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming Paramount+ series “Lioness,” Variety has learned exclusively. The move brings Kidman in front of the camera on the show, as she has been attached as an executive producer since “Lioness” was originally announced.

“Lioness” is based on a real-life CIA program. Per the official series description, it follows “Cruz Manuelos (Laysla De Oliveira), a rough-around-the-edges but passionate young Marine recruited to join the CIA’s Lioness Engagement Team to help bring down a terrorist organization from within.”

The cast also includes Zoe Saldaña, Jill Wagner, Dave Annable, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Hannah Love Lanier, Stephanie Nur, and Jonah Wharton.

Kidman will play Kaitlyn Meade, described as “the CIA’s Senior Supervisor who has had a long career of playing the politics game. She must juggle the trappings of being a woman in the high-ranking intelligence community, a wife that longs for the attention she herself can’t even give and a mentor to someone veering suspiciously close to the same rocky road she’s found herself on.”

While Kidman is primarily known for her critically-acclaimed film roles, she has become increasingly active and in-demand in the television space in recent years. Most famously, she starred in and executive produced the hit HBO drama “Big Little Lies,” for which she won both the Emmy and Golden Globe for best actress in a limited series. She has since starred in shows like “The Undoing” at HBO and “Nine Perfect Strangers” at Hulu. She also received an Emmy nod in 2012 for her role in the HBO film “Hemingway & Gellhorn.”

In film, Kidman won the Oscar, BAFTA, and Golden Globe for her work in “The Hours.” She has been nominated for Oscars for films like “Moulin Rouge,” “Rabbit Hole,” “Lion,” and “Being the Ricardos.”

She is repped by CAA, Media Talent Group, Jackoway Tyerman, and The Lede Company.

Sheridan created “Lioness” and also serves as executive producer. Variety exclusively reported in June 2022 that he was taking over as showrunner as well. Saldaña executive produces in addition to starring. Kidman executive produces Blossom Films. David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Wagner, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Malone, and John Hillcoat also executive produce. MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios produce.

I'm not surprised that she joined the cast, especially since she's a credited EP as well. Kidman's already done TV and streaming, but getting her on this show is a nice get for Paramount +

I bet Sheridan as the show runner is what got her to do it.

Deadline reporting that Paramount has had it with Costner’s demands for how many days he can shoot on Yellowstone and rumor is they will end this version of the show and continue a new version with Matthew McConaughey. Some cast members from the original would move to the new one.

The story mention Paramount would own the streaming rights to the new series.

If Costner is booted out of Yellowstone, they will lose a lot of viewers. I know he's still very popular with older women. And who would McConaughey play would be my question? A new Dutton relative or an entirely new character?

Until this is official, I guess it's wait and see.

Honorary Oscar recipient Donald Sutherland has joined the cast of executive producer Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming Western series about real-life frontier hero Bass Reeves, which is undergoing some changes.

The drama, by showrunner Chad Feehan, is getting a name change from Bass Reeves to Lawmen: Bass Reeves and the project will now be an anthology series. Reeves will still be the focus of season one, but subsequent seasons will center on different iconic lawmen who impacted history.

The Hunger Games and Dirty Dozen actor will play Judge Isaac Parker, “an imposing and commanding judge in the Fort Smith Courthouse with a complicated legacy.”

The first season of Lawmen stars Emmy nominee David Oyelowo as Reeves, the first black deputy U.S. marshal west of the Mississippi River. He’s described as “the greatest frontier hero in American history [who] worked in the post-Reconstruction era as a federal peace officer in the Indian Territory, capturing over 3,000 of the most dangerous criminals without ever being wounded.”

The cast also includes regulars Lauren E. Banks, Forrest Goodluck, Barry Pepper, Demi Singleton, and in recurring roles, Dennis Quaid, Joaquina Kalukango, Lonnie Chavis, Rob Morgan, Ryan O’Nan, Grantham Coleman and Justin Hurtt-Dunkley. Shea Whigham and Garrett Hedlund are set to guest star.

Lawmen is set to join Sheridan’s sprawling slate of dramas that include Paramount Network flagship Yellowstone, it’s Paramount+ spinoffs 1883 and 1923, plus Paramount+’s Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown and upcoming dramas Lioness and Land Man.

Lawmen is currently filming in Texas.

If you missed 1883 because you don't have Paramount +, you can watch it on cable this June on Paramount Network. Unless you don't have cable.

Taylor Sheridan should think about remaking the Lonesome Dove series and other Larry McMurtry books. McMurtry died only a few years ago.

Another Yellowstone prequel. Plus the McConaughey show is tentatively called 2024.

Additionally, the Yellowstone universe is expanding with another prequel, 1944 (working title). And the previously announced contemporary spinoff series is now expected to carry on with the title format of the prequels as Paramount is doubling down on the decade idea, getting a 2024 working title. Its premiere will follow the conclusion of Yellowstone.

is Sheridan a robot? This guy has so many different projects simultaneously going on.

Not hard to believe the reports that he's difficult to work with

He's likely writing the treatment and handing off day-to-day duties to other showrunners.

Looks like Matthew Fox is getting the lead opposite Pheiffer that Russell was rumored to play.

^^ Wow!!! If that didn't say it was "Matthew Fox", I would not have guessed it. It feels like Lost was just yesterday... but, clearly, it was not.

Sheridan always gets first class talent in front of the camera. Ed Harris and Annette Bening are great.
