yeah, other than a couple of cool moments that are few and far between, this has been a snoozer.

but it will all be redeemed with a de-aged Han Solo cameo in the season finale!

Bryce Dallas Howard got to direct this one… and we thought Dave Filoni would helm such an episode. Maybe she’s just setting his episode up.

Might want to keep this thread titled “Chapter 5” as its title would be a huge spoiler.

Great Mandalorian episode, but it just further shows that there is nothing interesting going on with the actual Boba Fett storyline.

Wow, best episode so far and Bryce really outdid herself -- even the FX work was top tier feature film's worth. Nothing looked dodgy at all.

Can't say I was expecting a Mandalorian episode being thrown into the middle of the season...

Also wasn't expecting Ringworld to show up in the Star Wars universe, either. ;)

And, yeah, Bryce Dallas Howard did an aces job behind the camera. Really goes to show you how they fucked up the movies by attaching "hotshot" directors to them and giving them creative control instead of putting someone like Favreau in charge of the franchise and using talented hired guns to direct the films.

Only two episodes left, and we still have to do the Mando/Grogu reunion where Grogu gets his Beskar Balls.

I guess this whole thing was just to set up the next season of whatever this is becoming. Wouldn't be bad if we didn't have to wait the better part of a year for it.

So Rodriguez has one more episode left and Filoni has his. I assume Filoni is doing the season finale.

Episode 6 was written by Filoni and Favreau, so 6 should be Filoni directed and Rodriguez directs the finale.

Just goes to show much better Mando is as a character and series. It's like night and day. Boba on the whole has been a disappointment and unless they pull out something extraordinary in the finale, largely a detriment to the character. They shot their load with Mando.

Haven’t participated much in these threads. Boba Fett series is just ok.

But this Mandalorian themed episode was amazing. And I seem to like Bryce Dallas Howard directed episodes.
