Re: Willie Garson dead at 57

Saw Titus Welliver post something on Twitter, but when I looked it up, there was a site saying it was a hoax.

Re: Willie Garson dead at 57

This was Garson’s final tweet on the 4th. Sounds like it was a farewell tweet.

I don’t think we know the cause of death yet.

Sad. I can’t say I recognized him until I saw his picture but he seemed like a nice guy. RIP

yeah it said cancer up top. It’s fucking crazy. He’s always done these small roles and always played the darkish kinda oafish character. He’s done a lot I’m sure. Nothing totally long standing, msybe S&C, but not much else to my recollection. Always dry funny though.

I'll always remember him from Stargate SG-1.

Do you have the same reaction when you hear anyone died from cancer, or do you just save it for celebrities?

Oh man, I just watched White Collar with my girls last summer. Garson/Mozzie was my oldest's favorite actor/character. She's gonna be heartbroken.

I remember him from Out Cold, one of my favorite guilty pleasure films.

I need to watch that again.

RIP Mr. Garson

Re: Willie Garson dead at 57

I thought he was hilarious in SatC, but I really found his one role in Friends really funny. He's the neighbor Ross will not give $100 for the handymans retirement fund. Ross just moved in and thought he shouldn't have to.

Re: Willie Garson dead at 57

It appears his final work will be the Sex and the City continuation. Stories have mentioned he worked on it prior to his death. I saw on his IG that he posed with the ladies of the show, but this was months ago.

This was from June

the fuck does that mean? Both my parents had cancer. Instead of what you call a thinking mind maybe use it a little more and not make blanket jackass comments in a public forum.

https://www.cnn.com/2021/09/24/enter...ath/index.html

The family revealed that Garson died of pancreatic cancer.

I had a co-worker die from it in 2019. He was battling it for almost 2 years. Went it to remission, then came back with a vengeance and eventually his body couldn't take it anymore.

Re: Willie Garson dead at 57

If anyone wants to watch his final appearance on Hawaii 5-0 and doesn't have access to Paramount Plus or the Season 10 DVDs/Blu-Rays - ION is showing that episode Saturday morning (October 2) from 1:00 am ET to 2:00 am ET. RIP Willie Garson (Gerald Hirsch - Hawaii 5-0)

It really is. My uncle died from it. I think he lasted just over a year. Maybe. And that was more time than doctors expected.
