I really take offense to not understanding how to watch TV anymore. I have also advocated for weekly releases because I like discussion threads. I also am not an action obsessed junkie. Most of the time I think too many action set pieces really drag down a movie or show. I'm much more into story and dialogue.
I'm sorry that I don't worship at the altar of Marvel. I just don't see how people thought this show was so "mysterious" and "different." It was OK. It was an overly long gag that, in my opinion, didn't work well enough to justify the time spent on it. I'm not saying this couldn't have been done well, I'm just saying that I don't think they did. It seemed completely obvious from the first episode the general direction the show was heading. I don't even get why people said they didn't "get it." It's not a confusing show. Wow. Talk about entitled crybabies! "I had to wait A WHOLE WEEK for the show to get to where I wanted it to be!!" |

I am really, really enjoying this show and I love the TV tropes. I'm fully down with the whole angle of the show. I'm purposefully avoiding spoilers, trailers, images, etc. because I just want to see the whole thing unfold episode by episode.

These people are going to be so angry when this week's goes back into sitcom mode.
I assume it keeps progressing by decade. I noticed a "Modern Family" bit in the newer trailer. They pretty much need to do Full House right? |

I would expect that going forward it will alternate between the sitcom world and the real world.

The first week, they released two episodes (one hour), and I can appreciate that many viewers would have felt after that hour they were ready for answers, but Disney/Marvel made them sit through another episode (30 minutes!) before pulling the curtain back.

My problem isn’t waiting for a mystery to develop, it’s that I didn’t find the episodes good. They weren’t fun to watch. They could keep up the sitcom stuff for 5 years for all I care. I wasn’t in a rush for answers. I was in a rush for the show to be good. And by the way, even with some answers, I didn’t think it made that last episode great either.
