My knowledge is limited, but I think that an orange lightsaber represents a balance between the Light Side and Dark Side.

I think they've only appeared in a video game, so this canonicity is probably dubious.

On a related note, Ahsoka wields white lightsabers (made from purified kyber crystals) because it represents her detachment from ideology and status as sort of ronin Jedi.

I haven’t watched a single star wars show (I know I need to watch Andor) but am totally on board for this because of Rosario Dawson and Grand Admiral Thrawn. Who is the old guy using the force? Is that C’baoth from the Zayn novels ?

A few episodes when they were originally aired. Will try and watch that before this but i’ve found im not really that big of a star wars fan so i may not make it through them all. If I don’t I’ll at least read through a recap so thanks for the heads up either way.

My interest in this is like 90% Rosario Dawson based. The other 10% is a passing interest in how Thrawn is portrayed having enjoyed those books when i was a kid. If it wasn’t for Dawson though I’d probably check out a Thrawn scene on youtube when i thought of it 6 months or so after airing.

I finally watched Rebels as I knew this was closely related to it. After the more kid friendly storylines in the first season, I was surprised at the level of lore and worldbuilding in it. The stuff with Maul was interesting, although I could have lived without the drama in Sabine's family.

Of all the Star Wars TV projects, Rebels is the one with the biggest difference between startup and finish. It was kinda juvenile in the beginning but we kept going and when they started digging into the lore, it went from sublight to hyperspeed real quick.

I'll likely never be confident in a Lucasfilm project based on trailers/promotion for a long time - but this looks pretty good. It needs to stick the landing and continue the rebuilding of this franchise that Andor started. Will be giving Rebels a try as well.
