More cast members announced
The “Prison Break” reboot pilot at Hulu has added four new cast members in guest star roles, Variety has learned.
Ray McKinnon (“Deadwood,” “Mayans MC”), Margo Martindale (“Justified,” “The Sticky”), Donal Logue (“Sons of Anarchy,” “Grounded for Life”), and Lili Taylor (“Manhunt,” “Outer Range”) are all set to guest star in the pilot. They join previously announced cast members Emily Browning, Lukas Gage, Drake Rodger, Clayton Cardenas, JR Bourne, Myles Bullock, Georgie Flores, and Priscilla Delgado.

I finally saw The Final Break two special episodes - 16 years later 
They were on Hulu this whole time! I’ve had Hulu since 2020 and never noticed the two episodes were on there. They are labeled as episode 4.23 and 4.24, instead of as “The Final Break”.
I only recently found out because I was researching Prison Break Reddit after this recent reboot news.

They were on Hulu this whole time! I’ve had Hulu since 2020 and never noticed the two episodes were on there. They are labeled as episode 4.23 and 4.24, instead of as “The Final Break”.

The two extra episodes are easy to miss. They never actually aired on FOX. They were released as a direct to video bonus movie in state States after the series ended since the focus was on the Sara character. I recall they were made for the Euro and International market for broadcast. Anyway, they didn't really matter since Michael's fate was retconned in season 5.

I remember the DVD release, but I wasn’t going to buy it for a one-time viewing back in 2009.
And after watching them yesterday, I’m glad I didn’t buy it back then. While I enjoyed the two episodes, there is zero replay value for me. The actual prison break was not that exciting.

Even though season 5 was the most recent one and I watched it 3 years ago, I've forgotten everything, which doesn't speak for its quality.

I can't think of any reason to have this in the same world as the original other than bringing back an actor or two for member berries. I'd rather they just went the anthology route and make it completely stand-alone from the original.

Since they set it in the same universe, I'm sure at one point T-Bag or C-Note will appear and I'm totally against.
