Damn. That’s really sad. I liked Mythbusters back in the day and Grant always seemed like a cool guy. RIP.

Damn you science for not advancing to the point of being capable of transferring his essence into his greatest creation: Geoff Peterson.

Shocking. Another young 'un gone too soon.
I always enjoyed his appearances on the Ferguson show.

Just came to post this. Nice so many people posted already. He genuinely seemed like a great dude. I’ll always get a chuckle when the Mythbusters announcer says “Keri, Grant, and Torrey” are up to something.

he was such a smart and likable guy. Would have loved to have a beer with him. Same age as me so it stings a little more. RIP

Can’t believe I almost forgot about him making Geoff Peterson. Such a great sidekick on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

I'm not usually bothered by celebrity deaths but this one stings and Adam's tweet almost made me well up.
I've been marathoning the show this Summer. All the cast members seemed like the most likable people and who you'd want to hang out with if you got the chance. Grant especially.
Wow, RIP man.

Just heard about this. Fuck.
I was a big Mythbusters fan and I still often use clips of their shows in my classroom. Grant always seemed very knowledgeable and talented in his work, and he appeared to be a really nice person.
I lost an aunt in her early 50s to a brain aneurysm. No warning, just suddenly gone. Very tough on the family.
Rest in peace, Grant.

Terrible news. By all accounts the guy was very sweet, very genuine, and just a loveable innocent genius. When someone like this goes so young it really makes you question the existence of God.

The rest of the cast was great though. I think this one stings because, aside from him being fairly young, the cast of Mythbusters were so likable that they genuinely felt like friends who you could hang out with in the garage and having fun making stuff.

Has Jamie made a statement about Grant's death? I've seen the other guys but not him... I know he's not big on social media but still...

I don't use social media anymore but Jamie strikes me as someone the media is gonna have to reach out to for comment.
