this just aired on ABC. i know too late to party, but this will be on demand, it might show again or seek it out!! but on ABC and it was the entire life and career with the best talent and all the talent, even Julie Andrews and recluse Richard Gere spoke. 3 Oscar winners, 2 that he catapulted in Hathaway and Roberts. and had no idea Hector Elizando was in 18 of Garry's movies. just an amazing tribute, informative, bts, intimate portrait of a genius. see this as soon as possibly can. you won't be sorry!

Just watched it. Excellent, -some good laughs, and at times very touching. I never realized just how many films Marshall made.

Only caught the second half but some great interviews and stories. WIll certainly be missed.

Wife and I grew up on Happy Days/L&S/M&M etc. I had no idea, though, that he directed so many features (many of which I had seen over the years). I also never realized how many careers he launched or boosted. Was really touching to hear about how many or these now a-list stars dropped everything to see him before he passed.

I was way more into the first half focused on his TV shows. Kinda lost interest covering his movies, which I wasn’t all that crazy about.
Too bad there was no mention of Joanie Loved Chachi or Blanksy’s Beauties or any of his other failed sitcoms, but that’s me being a weirdo wanting that kind of stuff covered.

Following that thought, I looked up some of his other productions on the IMDB, -"Me and the Chimp", for example, -and was surprised to find he produced one of my favorite TV movies from days gone by, the Western spoof "Evil Roy Slade" (directed by Jerry Paris).
