After last weeks episode of OC and the SVU hostage situation episode where Benson talked about not having anyone my wife said that she thinks that the main reason for the show existing is so they could get rid of Stablers' wife in a way that they finally have Benson and Stabler hook up. I don't think I disagree with her on that.

Yeah it was nice of them to remind us of Tucker's death. Gotta clean house so they are both unattached. That being said I think it's a bad idea if they do hook them up.

I think it was always a "will they, won't they.." type tease. I think he was married so....

Yeah got all that. Just saying even with the wife on SVU there was always a Shipping of the two.

Yeah, there was a large part of the fanbase that always shipped them. Really I always liked the team of Munch and Finn better than Benson and Stabler anyway. Never wanted to see them hook up though.

Was this week the next crossover with SVU? Wondering if I need to download it on demand before watching Organized Crime.

Oh shit, I just finished the crossover. That was a bombshell reveal. Did not expect that at all.

Considering she was a lead on Bones for basically its full run, I completely expected her to be a larger part of the story than what we had seen so far.

Listings - LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME on NBC | TheFutonCritic.com
The Futon Critic has confirmed now that it's an 8 episode 1st season.
There's 2 left this season after tonight
I read that Dick Wolf is planning for production to film 24 episodes next season. It will be broken up into 3 8 episode arcs. So sounds like OC will stay serialized.

I'm enjoying the show but 24 episodes seems like a ton even with 8 episode arcs. 16 with a break in the middle would be so much better.

I'll just make a general comment here. But I've been really enjoying this year. Maybe it's because the Stabler character finally got back to a more gritty plotline/ie actual meaningful investigative work. Or I just missed watching the Stabler character. Whatever the reasons this has been pretty fun to watch. And I'm glad it's getting a full season order next year.

I thought I could stay with this but nope. They can't help themselves.
