Aya Cash was awesome in You're the Worst and she is awesome in this. Great addition to the show.

Homelander had to have chipped a tooth the way she slammed his face in there. Pickin' pubes out of those perfect teeth fur dayz. ;) :p

I find it funny that when I watch this series the whole time the same thought plays over and over in my head..."Homelander must Die" He is a frightening piece of shit.

Yeah, it's pretty scary that one of the most powerful people on Earth is a complete psychopath...

I have a yucky theory after watching these last couple of episodes. Possible spoilers:
Spoiler:
Liberty/Stormfront’s vanishing could easily have been around the same time Homelander was born. I can easily see this show going the Oedipal route, especially considering the obsession he already has with breast milk.

So you think
Spoiler:
that Stormfront didn't know or did and initiated the incest anyway...

It would make sense
Spoiler:
--in a deranged way--if she did know. She might think of it as keeping the bloodline pure.

Yeah for this show it would fit.

I didn’t really think that far ahead, but that makes sense as a motive.

It also could be
Spoiler:
her way to control him. She likely knows of his "relationship" with Elizabeth Shue's character and thinks she can easily manipulate him this way. He's a man-child.

Do we have to spoiler theories in here?

Either way, I think the theory is possible, and I think it's a pretty clever theory as well. However, I'm leaning more towards she likes Homelander's "aesthetic" qualities, but also knows she can manipulate him this way as well.

I appreciated it, but I don't think there's any particular rule.

There have been a few times on this forum where people have made remarkably accurate 'predictions' which have spoiled other shows, so I tend to avoid that sort of discussion for shows that I'm particularly enjoying. The spoiler tags help me to do so.

So the American Flag cape wearing superhero is in love with a legit Nazi who wants to purge all which aren't pure.

Way to punch us in the face with current politics.

Okay I officially love Lamplighter. We don't yet know what he did to get "killed off" do we?

I don't think so.

The actor is in The Rookie as well; I haven't been able to accept him in this show yet. I still see the fairly cowardly lawyer he plays on that show. Hopefully after a couple more episodes.

Holy fuck this was brutal ep. Fun one, but very brutal. What makes the show great. Fun, some laughs, great action, Karl Urban and violence porn. Funny how Ice Man from X-Men movies, Ashmore took on role of kinda nemesis of Pyro in this. Same lighter and all

Re: The Boys (Amazon) -- Season 2 Thread -- Premieres 9/4/20

This is a brilliantly put together, written show out now. Every episode just sparkles with creativity, twists, turns, and is totally fun. And we totally need another like this now, something that is just pure fun. We’ve all been talking to death about Marvel/DC this whole community would love it. Though this would be antithesis of course, but so so enjoyable. So wish they did the 2 ep thing. But then be over in like a month, since only 8 eps and most people can get free month, I believe. But just love it and 50+ minutes go by in a blink!
