Conner Kent! Krypto! Badass. This show is easily worth the price of DC Universe.

I thought the Connor origin ep was the best one yet. Loved it. Show is getting better each episode.

People online are all upset (as usual) because Krypto killed someone.

He's a dog.

I didn't notice anyone mention the poll DC Universe had at its website regarding
Spoiler:
Jason Todd's fate.
But if you watched last week's episode you know how that turned out.

I think it tied to the comics how they did that vote in the past for him.

And there’s no way that poll could have affected the current season, much less the last episode. But based on the results, I can see if affecting next season for sure.

They got more votes than the DC call-in number. I was surprised to find that only 10K votes decided the fate of Jason Todd's comic book fate.

Holy shit on the latest episode.

Dick's perception of Bruce is pretty harsh.

Ive been saying Iain Glenn gives an Adam West vibe. The Batusi confirmed it.

Krypto!!

Kory saving Conner was awesome.

The doctor rode him out the window.

So Krypto must be actually from Krypton and not created in a lab. I wonder how Cadmus got a hold of him?

The Batusi was great. Good thing it was a figment of Dick’s mind, though. I can’t see it working otherwise.

Re: DC's Titans (DC Universe) -- Season 2 Thread -- Premieres 9/6/19

I fell behind on Titans a few weeks. Just watched episode 4 "Aqualad" Damn, that was brutal seeing Garth killed off with a bullet from a high powered assault rifle. Especially afterwards seeing Donna's reaction.

That does seem to explain why the Titans split up.

They got a decent actor to play Aqualad.

This week’s episode, Jericho, was truly moving, the kind of depth you never see on any of the CW shows. Dick totally fucked up, had no right to do what he did (trying to be vague without spoiling it). Also made you see how insane Deathstroke is.

Is this a new Deathstroke origin story? I always thought he was an ordinary human who enhanced himself.

Deathstroke's first origin had him trained by his wife and later volunteered for the enhancement experiment. The TV show doesn't mention his older son which actually started this whole thing with the Titans.

Re: DC's Titans (DC Universe) -- Season 2 Thread -- Premieres 9/6/19

Still loving this series overall but it fell victim to one of my least favorite tropes that pretty much all superhero shows do which is nerf a hero's power to make the villain either more powerful than they should be or to create drama without actually coming up with a creative way to account for the power imbalance.

Wonder Girl has the same powers as Wonder Woman basically. There is no way that Deathstroke should even be able to come close to beating her let alone doing it easily. Takes me out of the suspension of belief every time that shows do this. Other than that was a really good episode.

I had no idea that Jericho (Chella Man) was played by a deaf, gender queer, F to M in transition. Some of his YouTube videos are pretty moving.

The show is good. However, does Wonder Girl even have any powers other than a rope on this show? They are making her far too weak.

Thought she did, in one episode she was leaping over cars and stuff, now all of a sudden Deathstroke stabs her. She’s almost as strong and invulnerable as WW so that doesn’t seem likely. Even then she’s supposed to be as fast as WW so as enhanced as DS might be, he’s still just human.

I thought she wasn't even an Amazonian in the comics. Tho it's been a while since I read the Who Is Donna Troy arc in Teen Titans.

She was a amazon in every comic I have seen her in but I haven't seen her in everything. I read comics where all amazons are super powered and comics where only wonder woman has powers.
