I cracked up when the Lissons tried to pull a “Young Guns” immediately after watching it by throwing the chest out the window with his wife in it only to have it go horribly wrong.

We went to watch fireworks a few weeks ago with friends and they were all raving about this so we finally looked it up and just tore through both seasons.

This is some of the funniest stuff on tv in a long time. The whole family dynamic is so absurd yet still so real at the same time. I wasn’t even digging it at first until the end of the second episode and that character was at the door and my jaw dropped.

And the de-aging on Goodman for the flashbacks is amazingly good. Disney needs to use that software to redo the Obi-Wan scenes.

Season 3 premieres June 18th. Happy this is back already. It seemed like forever between season 1 and 2.

I think covid got in the way. Last episode of S1 aired Oct. 2019 and the S2 premiere was Jan. 2022. That's 2 years and 2 months.

The gap between S2 and S3 is long enough at 15 months.

Cool! I will watch this for sure, not sure if it will be a weekly watch or a binge watch after a few things are out. Buying and selling a house has screwed with all my shows and I havent gotten past ep 2 of succession or any of the picard stuff beyond ep 2 either.

Jody Hill's work (whether it's Hill or Danny McBride) captures something I still don't understand. But it's always good.

The biggest laugh for me was the open to the second episode where Judy’s guitarist tells his wife her haircut makes her look like a fucking idiot

She really is. She's the funniest thing on the show. Her reactions to even the smallest things is hilarious.

I suspect Kelvin will realize he's gay (or admit it to himself) by the end of this season.

Always funny how BJ seems to be the one who gets the brunt of anything that happens.

They seem to be pointing in that direction. He's never shown any interest in women, and surrounds himself with muscular men and seems extra tight with Keefe. Plus the latest episode he seems to have some attraction and admiration with Keefe.
