The Amy/Jake plotline tonight was like an SVU-lite episode. I think I've heard the exact Rosa/Amy convo on there

Has Braugher been nominated for an Emmy for this show? This episode was a great feature for Holt and those great line deliveries of his. GAH-ROOOO-VEE VOOO-DOOO

So Amy's brother who is good at everything, but is also kind of a smug douchebag that no one likes...Lin Manuel Miranda...perfect. Miranda was one of the celebrity fans that came out of the woodwork when this show was cancelled for 24 hours so that is probably the impetus to cast him as one of Amy's previously unseen brothers.

Loved Rosa's character.

Manual was perfect on this episode. So was Fumero. So was Beatriz. So was the entire episode.

That was a nice callback.

I liked the whole Hitchcock/Skully emergency with the Lasagna/Garlic Bread.

Holt signed his texts during an emergency situation which was even funnier, because we were all expecting it.

Liked the Killing Eve reference.

And going back a week, I loved Holt being a fan of the NY Times Crossword Puzzle app, as that's part of my every day as well. Except now when I finish it, I add Holt's "Yes yes, play me my dunce's tune" when I enter the final answer.

Hehe... Susan Boyle.

Hitchcock and Scully need more screen time.

Hah, I knew that Boyle was referencing Susan Boyle but somehow missed the fact she had the same last name until just now!

this is the funniest show on tv. the last 2 eps, especially the real-time ep was downright hilarious. and anything with Gina is gold. when she got stabbed and was talking to Jake and all that, i lost it...

It was also a Cinco De Mayo Heist so its acknowledged that the show shifted in the schedule. The reveal that Jake and Amy got each other secret tasers for Christmas was awesome.

The insanity that is the hallmark of the heist eps really worked out great this time around. I like that they included Holt's husband in the shenanigans.

I loved the running gag about the faked gas explosion culminating in Terry yelling at the guy in the ambulance for overacting.

And Rosa's line to Charles about his disguise being "so offensive it's almost actionable" killed me for some reason. Great episode.
