DC's Legends of Tomorrow (S4E08) - Fall Finale - "Legends of To-Meow-Meow" - 12/10/18

MONDAY, DECEMBER 10

DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW

"Legends of To-Meow-Meow" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, DLV) (HDTV)

IT'S THE RIGHT THING TO DO - After Constantine (Matt Ryan) breaks the cardinal Legend rule, you can't change the past, he, along with Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Zari (Tala Ashe) try to deal with the ramifications without telling the rest of the Legends. Even though Zari encourages them to just fix the problem, Constantine and Charlie are determined to find another way, but only continue to make things worse. Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Ramona Young and Jes Macallan also star. Ben Bray directed the episode written by James Eagan & Ray Utarnachitt (#408). Original airdate 12/10/2018.

Returns to The CW in April.

Black Lightning moves into this timeslot in January

Again, this has no tie-in to Elseworlds.

This episode made me feel like I was on drugs or something. Sirens of Space-Time is definitely something I’d be down for more of.
Sucks that this won’t back til April.

On the subtitles the Crusaders were saying something like

"I guess it's time for the yearly crossover."
"This time I bet they switch costumes."

Feels like the annual crossover....pass

The Custodians of the Chronology. Sirens of Space-Time! The Puppets of Tomorrow!

So fucking awesome.

I was thinking that I really needed to be stoned to fully appreciate this episode.

And I would totally watch a Sirens of Space-Time series.

I don't even care that this show makes no sense as it's easily the most flat-out entertaining thing going. The Rory and Fairy Godmother team-up was my favorite of the timelines.

Wow this was a lot of fun. Loved them kicking the crossover to the curb. Heatwave and Fairy Godmother the Series.

The Custodians, Sirens, and Puppets stuff was so awesome I wanted Constantine to go away. Seriously, given how they are using him, it would be best if he went back to only being the occasional guest star.

That beginning spoofing action show openings from the 1980s was hilarious.

Apparently I'm going against the grain here, because I didn't care for this episode as much. Sure, it was completely bonkers, and there were some fun moments, but I felt like getting to some of those crazy moments required characters to break character.

For example a Dudley Doo-right like Ray would never kill indiscriminately no matter who got killed. Things like that just felt off to me.

I don’t disagree with this, and it also crossed my mind while watching. But at this point I just try to ignore my internal voice that thinks of these logical gaps and just enjoy the crazy ride that this show brings.

But wasn't that the point of this ep and the overall theme of the series? Constantine's fucking with the timeline caused DRASTIC changes in people and events that were never supposed to happen/be. Why would that bother anyone?

Yeah, that's literally the appeal of a time travel story like this. Showing how small changes in the past have major effects moving forward.

Cat Zari showed far more range than human Zari.
