It grew on me so I’m kind of disappointed. I’m a bit surprised as well because Showtime seems to be notorious for renewing shows that have worn out their welcome.

Never started it but i loved the original series, and now that it's cancelled does it at least feel self contained? or are there threads left unresolved? If so i won't start it at all..

I'm surprised they canceled this. It must have done pretty bad. Showtime seems to be losing all their high profile dramas. The Affair, Ray Donovan, Homeland, Shameless (1 more season). I guess they still have Billions although that's getting up there in age now. Is City on a Hill ever coming back? Showtime must be putting all their money into the Halo series.
