Council of Wells and HR notwithstanding, I have liked Tom Cavanagh on this show, but I would rather they write Wells out of the show than do stupid shit like this.

His council stuff seemed just like a terrible indulgence, but I hope we're not stuck with this obnoxious creep for the season.

And, yeah, something seems up with Jesse L. Martin. He barely moved and at certain angles he looked rough.

I thought it looked like his hand was shaking in one of his scenes.

ALS or MS perhaps? He barely moves his head nor does he try to stand up.

Wish they would dump Wells if they are going to keep up this "Council" like shit where is has ridiculous accents (that he can't even pull off consistently) or "HR" quirks.

Not sure where they are going with this Daddy Snow stuff. Have they run out of anything else for Caitlin to do since they shelved the idea of her having powers?

So these other earth Wells characters.
Are they just sitting/standing around waiting for Vibe to kidnap them?

When they apear they never seemed surprised or concerned.
They’re always like Oh Hey there, Hi.

Also Baby Flash is a terrible Flash.
How long has she been a Flash?

She didn’t learn anything from Flash history, always running into the fray and screwing up.

Plus Barry still hasn’t learned how to fight yet?

The Sherlocque Wells stuff was just corny. I wish they would have left well enough alone with Wells. Harry's exit last season worked as an end for his character. Not it appears this version has some hidden agenda.

Yeah I'm curious what's going on with Jesse L. Martin. He doesn't look like himself. I wonder if he has some offseason surgery or is recovering from an injury off set. Fans are starting to notice on social media as well that he hasn't stood up for 3 episodes now.

Her name is Nora

and she's from 30 years in the future. So she's probably in her mid to late 20's. Barry disappeared in 2024 when she was very young. My guess she's been XS for at least 5 years..maybe a little longer.

Didn’t she say this week or last week that that was the first villain she’d stopped? Seemed to me like she’s faitly new at crime fighting.

Nora said she invited him.

I agree though, the Council of Wells stuff is pretty dumb. They should just write him out.

I liked the intro with the eco-friendly robber.

I read somewhere that he was in a traffic accident over the summer, and is being shot this way while he recovers, but you can't trust the internet. Seems the showrunners would be a little forthcoming at least about something so obvious.

If that were the case there would be little reason to hide it. Sickness makes more sense. I’m sure we’ll find out in due time.

I like the brief look into the future with young Nora visiting the FLASH Museum.
Too bad the Curator, Dexter Myles wasn't shown
Myles 1st appeared in FLASH #138. Created by John Broome and Carmine Infantino.

Somehow they need to pull Earth-1 Harrison Wells from the accident where Thrawn took his identity. Then they can have a permanent Harry once and for all.

Yeah Jesse Martin isn't right. It is painfully obvious something is wrong.

Did I see Condiment King's gun in the Flash museum?

Pretty sure that why it was phrased as pulling Wells before Thawne (Thrawn is Star Wars) could execute the takeover. Wouldn't make sense for them to do given the posible effects tothe timeline. But when has that ever stopped them before?

ThaTs my point about her experience.
If it’s been about five years that’s as long as or longer then Barry has been a Flash.

She should know better then to go flashing into action without thinking.

So I guess we are just forgoing all the Time Wraith stuff this universe clearly defined? I guess they have no interest in trying to course correct Nora's Flashpoint. Convenient plot device when needed.

Good start to the season. I enjoyed Sherloque Wells, despite the corny name. Also, so "the greatest detective in the multiverse" is not Batman. That's a bummer.

Didn't Hartley figure out to stop them?

Finally saw this. I liked it.

I don't get the hate for the Multi-Wells. It different and fun. Never know what people will hate these days.

Didn't Barry et al learn that every time he tried to fix things that way he made it worse? Why go down that rabbit hole again. It seems its more than just "convenient", seems a like a valid one...

It's rumored he can't walk or even stand up at the moment. The show is filming around it as he recovers.

I like The Flash a lot more since I dropped Arrow, Supergirl, and Black Lightning, seems way fresher.
