Looks great. Looking forward to it next month.
If dex14 or another Mod sees this, can you remove Wersching from the thread title since she's no longer on the show?

While I don't mind watching on Amazon, I do hope they eventually release this on DVD or Blu-ray.

Yeah, they already announced renewal for S4 when they were filming S3.
Just finished. Fantastic. My biggest gripe was the ADA girlfriend. She was an awful actress. Terrible.
I love all the stuff they left for next season. KTK, Elanor's cloak and dagger stuff, his mother's murder.

I'm three episodes into the third season. Is it just me, or are there a lot of plot threads going on? It feels a little disjointed.

Did you watch the previous 2 seasons? There are always several plots going on concurrently. No different than the books are.

Re: Bosch (Amazon Prime) -- S: Titus Welliver -- Series Thread
Unfortunately, all I remember of the previous two seasons is a blur of denim shirts.
Storylines kind of merge together a little better toward the middle of this season, and it flows a little better.

Finally found the time to watch the 3rd season. Good stuff, looking forward to next season. Alittle less Maddie would be nice though. Can't stand the snarky teenager personality.

This is a great show, I was listening to Leanord Maltin's Podcast, he had Michael Connelly on and they discussed Bosch in depth, it was a great listen. Maltin mentioned it was Amazon's most watched show, but I don't know if that is confirmed anywhere.
Anyway, this is a great detective crime show, one of the best on TV. 10 Eps is absolutely perfect and I enjoyed every episode. Glad it was renewed, and now they have a few story arcs to work through.
Weakest part of the story was his partner stuff, I mean Bosch is your partner, deal with it!

Re: Bosch (Amazon Prime) -- S: Titus Welliver -- Series Thread
Well, Edgar hasn't been Bosch's partner in the books since 2002 so there are ways to go with that.
Just finished the season. Another strong season. It was easy to spot Darkness More Than Night, but it has been too long since I read the Black Echo. Presumably WB or Eastwood owns the rights to Terry McCaleb (the person investing Harry in the book), but I'm surprised they didn't get the rights to the Poet to use Jack McEvoy (the reporter) if only because that's the first book Rachel Walling appears in, and you would think they would want the rights to her.
Going forward since they've brought Eleanor back from Hong Kong I assume that means we aren't getting 9 Dragons, or at least if we do it will be in a modified form.

‘Bosch’ Renewed For Season 5 By Amazon; Eric Overmyer Back As Co-Showrunner; Season 4 Gets Premiere Date & Trailer
By Nellie Andreeva, Deadline.com - Feb. 13, 2018
EXCLUSIVE: Ahead of Bosch‘s Season 4 premiere, which has been set for April 13, Amazon’s longest-running drama series has been renewed for a fifth season. Executive producer Eric Overmyer, who developed Bosch for television and served as showrunner for the first three seasons before leaving to become showrunner on another Amazon drama series, The Man In the High Castle, is returning. He will serve as co-showrunner alongside executive producer Daniel Pyne, who succeeded Overmyer as Bosch showrunner for Season 4.
Amazon has set the fatalistic Friday, April 13 as a premiere date for the fourth season of Bosch on Primetime Video. You can watch the first trailer below.
Overmyer is leaving The Man In the High Castle after work on its upcoming third season has been completed. There is no immediate replacement.
Based on Michael Connelly’s best-selling novels, Bosch stars Titus Welliver as homicide Detective Harry Bosch, Jamie Hector as Jerry Edgar, Amy Aquino as Lt. Grace Billets, Madison Lintz as Maddie Bosch and Lance Reddickas Deputy Chief Irvin Irving. The series is produced by Fabrik Entertainment, a Red Arrow Studios company.
“As Amazon Prime Video’s longest-running one-hour series, Bosch has long been a cornerstone of our scripted programming, and Prime members consistently clamor for more,” said Sharon Tal Yguado, Head of Scripted Series, Amazon Studios. “We are excited to give them another season with Harry Bosch, Jerry Edgar, Grace Billets and the rest of the diverse characters that make up the Bosch universe.”
In the ten-episode season four, when an attorney is murdered on the eve of his civil rights trial against the LAPD, Bosch is assigned to lead a task force to solve the crime before the city erupts in a riot. Bosch must pursue every lead, even if it turns the spotlight back on his own department. One murder intertwines with another, and Bosch must reconcile his past to find a justice that has long eluded him.
“I could not be prouder of the show we are making. Bosch is entertaining and relevant to our world today,” said Connelly. “On top of that we have a fantastic writing staff and the cast and crew are the best. We feel we are just hitting our stride. Season four is based on “Angels Flight” and I don’t think we could have chosen a more timely story to tell.”
Overmyer and Pyne executive produce with Fabrik Entertainment CEO Henrik Bastin; Henrik Pabst, President of Red Arrow Studios International, the TV distribution arm of Red Arrow Studios; Pieter Jan Brugge, John Mankiewicz, Connelly, Jan David Frouman and Elle Johnson. Welliver serves as Producer.
