Season 2 comes out March 4. http://tvline.com/2016/01/11/bosch-s...e-catastrophe/

I enjoyed Season 1 quite a bit so I'm looking forward to this.

OK, so IMDb clearly fucked up and uploaded Season 1's trailer and release info as season 2.

Noticed that, guess I'll go with that date. Trailer looks good.

Just started S1 a few days ago. Have watched 7 episodes so far. Really enjoying this show. Can't wait to finish S1 so I can start on S2.

Does season 2 follow any of the books or is it an original story?

On March 18, 2015, Bosch was renewed for a second season, which will take inspiration from Connelly's novels Trunk Music, The Drop, and The Last Coyote.

Just finished it. Good stuff again with enough open ends to continue next (?) season.

Bosch is indeed coming back for a Season 2, and coming back shortly.

Re: Bosch (Amazon Prime) -- S: Welliver, Wersching -- Series Thread

Finished season 1 over the last few days. Was always intending to finish it, but never made the time.

Enjoyed season 1 quite a bit. Jason Gedrick was a good villain and adversary for Bosch.

Really surprised at how fast Bosch and Brasher's relationship fell apart after the shooting. I did like how the 1st season went into some of Bosch's past including his Mom's murder. The last half of the season became really addictive viewing.

Just started season 2 today. Didn't see Annie Wersching's name on the credits. I guess she's not really a big part of season 2.

Jeri Ryan being on the show and playing a former porn star.

Re: Bosch (Amazon Prime) -- S: Welliver, Wersching -- Series Thread

I'm through 3 episodes

Question about Wersching's character Brasher:

Spoiler:
IMDB says that Wersching only appears in 1 episode. I noticed that she was credited as "Special Appearance by" Does Julia make another appearance later in the season or is that it? I know she transferred to a different division and it's kind of hard to fit her in at Hollywood. Felt like she and Harry still have some unresolved issues.

Liked that they shot some of the episode in Las Vegas. I feel like they're trying to give more balance to the characters and not make everything revolve around Harry. The UC storyline with Irving's son seems to be interesting.

Didn't realize that Hoon Lee (Job from Banshee) plays Harry's ex's new husband.

Re: Bosch (Amazon Prime) -- S: Welliver, Wersching -- Series Thread

Finished Season 2 tonight. As good, if not better than Season 1.

Jeri Ryan is pretty good eye candy for someone approaching 50. Sexy.

Welliver killed it again. They couldn't have picked a better actor for the role. I'm a fan of his partner J Edgar too. Lance Reddick is also 1st class as Chief Irving.

I was really hoping there was a cross over with The Shield since the actor who played Detective Billings is in this and The Shield is also set in LA. Unfortunately, he plays a different detective in this one. Same kind of personality though.

I look forward to future seasons.

Welliver is terrific.

On Ep 3, going to take my time on this one over the next month, I really love this show. Hope we can look forward to multiple seasons.

Finished 8 of 10. Man I love it so. IIRC they changed a major plot point about Irving Jr.
Spoiler:
I seem to remember he died by getting pushed off a building.

Did that happen at the place his father was meeting Bosch while working the case? It has been a while since I read it.

Just finished. Loved it. My only gripe is
Spoiler:
he solved his mother's murder too quickly. My guess is this is what gets him to go to the cold case squad like in the books if this comes back for another season.

That was the only thing I didn't like.

Re: Bosch (Amazon Prime) -- S: Welliver, Wersching -- Series Thread

I think season 2 was better. Show started to hit it's stride toward the end of the season 1, so it has carried over. As for Welliver, he doesn't really fit my imagining of what he was, but that was only because Harry in the books is older. He is a vietnam vet, not a vet of Iraq war, iirc.
