Showtime is offering a free preview this weekend, 8/31 through 9/3/18. I mentioned YMMV as I'm not sure if every provider is in on the preview.

i already have Showtime, but for some reason want to see first ep. Kidding with Jim Carrey. i know it's on demand, but not sure if you have access to that when free weekend...

They disable the on demand feature for non-subscribers during a free preview weekend.

According to http://www.sho.com/free-preview, "PLATFORMS MAY VARY BY PROVIDER", but I was able to sign into Showtime Anywhere with a Dish acct.
