Sooo who is really complaining about the redesign? A bunch of Dudes on the interwebs or the TARGETED FEMALE AUDIENCE? If its not the latter then maybe ya'll should let it go...

The designs are excellent (IMHO), but I understand how it's a lot different from the previous versions. tanman's talking about his 7 year old daughter so it's not like he's taking the grumpy old man approach. He also mentioned his daughter likes Harley as a good guy... I have problems with that depiction of Harley myself, but in this series she's not just totally evil... she's actually one of Batgirl's best friends, one of her "crew" from Gotham and it seems like Batgirl will find out that she turned against the law and will have a falling out... which is much deeper than the previous storyline, at least.
Yesterday the kids and I sat down and watched last week's episode (about Supergirl watching Zatanna's bunnies) and they enjoyed it a lot. I'm just happy CN isn't showing it at like 4 in the morning and otherwise ignoring it like JLAction or YJ.

My daughter and I watched it last week and we didn't care for the redesigns. She has always ben a huge fan of DC Super Hero Girls. She has all of the Barbie Doll like figures from the old show. I don't know if she would be interested of they came out with a new toy line of the new show.
