DAVID RAMSEY GUEST STARS - When DeVoe assaults an A.R.G.U.S. facility to complete his Enlightenment Machine, Barry (Grant Gustin) realizes the only way he can stop him is if he allows Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) to accompany him into the facility. Still shaken by Ralph's death, Barry isn't sure he wants to risk any more of his friends' lives and considers taking on DeVoe solo. Viet Nguyen directed the episode written by Sam Chalsen & Kristen Kim (#422). Original airdate 5/15/2018.

Maybe one day Diggle won't puke from The Flash grabbing him...

Caitlin finally learned that she didn't become a meta from the particle accelerator as everyone on the show has thought. I guess that is the first step to her figuring out how to bring back Frost.

It's just weird b/c Caitlin didn't have any meta-powers, dormant or otherwise, before Flashpoint, and now she has them when she was a kid. Assuming she and Barry are around the same age then I guess they are saying she developed them immediately after Barry went back in time.

Thought this was the best Devoe has been all year. Too bad it took till episode 22.

That Devoe scene reminded me of the David/Shadow King scenes from Legion last season. That Diggle twist in the beginning got me. Since I knew he was going to be in this episode I thought we would see this scene on how it played out and then do the flashback of how the plan was developed when Flash brought him to Star Labs.

That opening scene with the Thinker was awesome, easily the most expensive scene on Flash in a couple of seasons. It took too long getting to this point, but this episode had its moments.

I think Ralph isn't coming back from the dead, at least this season. They really haven't laid any clues foreshadowing his return.

Killing everyone in the hallway was pretty cool. They even got the bad luck power in. I don't recall anyone with a zombie power though.

IF Ralph does show up in this season it would have to be in the Mindspace or whatever it's called and not in the real world. Would not see how they would bring him back without pulling something out of thin air like Phantom alluded to.

And this season when
Spoiler:
Oliver/Farouk and Lenny go to Division 3 toward the beginning of this season
. Loved the musical choices in both cases. Would that more episodes this season were like it.

I think the opening scene was almost worth the whole Davoe story arc. Looking forward to the finale next week.

I was hoping "Think Fast" were the last words Marlene said before she decapitated Devoe with her kitana.

Probably one of the better episodes of this Devoe/Thinker arc.

Kind of weird how they shoe-horned in David Ramsey for a quick Diggle appearance.

Alternate time line I guess? I can't think of any other way they'll explain it.

Yeah, the Davoe opening scene was one of the best of the season.

The Devoe hallway scene reminded me of the Daredevil hallway scene from Season 1.

That was a fun one. Another +1 to the hallway scene. That was killer. Maybe they should have unleashed Devoe from Marlize sooner. Full villain Devoe:

Love that Diggle still gets motion sick. It's still funny every time. I also enjoyed dumber Harry. The writers have really given Cavanagh a lot of room to experiment and have fun with the various Wells and his ever evolving character. I bet he has a blast on this show.

In the comics, Flashpoint (both the alternate timeline and the restored one) affected things that should've had nothing to do with whether Barry's mom lived or died (like where Superman's ship crashed), so at least they're consistent.

Have to think either Marlene kills DeVoe with the Kitana or his machine backfires on him and his brain is set to dumb mode.
