I have never used hallucinogenic drugs, but I can imagine this show is what it would be like if you did.

Jesus, were some graphic deaths in this one.

OK, the show that has no actual plot, really had none in this episode, but I enjoyed this one completely

Possibly the most infinitely sad tv episode of all time. Sheer brilliance.

I have no idea why you would say it has no plot. But I really applaud their willingness to have an episode like this one right in the middle of the primary arc of the season. I figured out what they were doing pretty early on, but it was still a very entertaining 45 minutes or so. And it was a great way to get Katie Aselton more screen time given this season's story wouldn't normally give her much screen time at all.

Actually I think you could make a really interesting series out of the episode. It was pretty fantastic and really interesting. All of them seemed like plausible outcomes for him.

Since I am not a comic book reader really, could someone provide perspective on just how powerful he really is? From last nights episode it would suggest he has to be one of the more powerful characters in the comic universe

He is an Omega level mutant - the most powerful described in the comics. Each of his powers is wielded by a different personality.

Unless I'm missing something, isn't next weeks episode S02E07 and this week was S02E06? If so thread title is wrong.

According to my guide S02E07 doesn't air till May 15th.

Thanks. It looks like they may have aired them out of order then. This episode is labeled as production episode 7 everywhere I look.

Nope. He apparently can absorb new personalities too. I can only imagine what trying to write a comic with him in it would be like.

Seems to me they could have aired this episode just about anytime during the season. My take away was that the David Haller timeline we're watching is pretty good compared to the others.
Spoiler:
I also liked how they put in our David's back story (how David got to the asylum) along with the "what might have been threads".

Had Farouk infected Billionaire David Haller?

Watch this I doubt it would actually spoil anything from the show since this is all comic history but just watch how insane this all is , really kinda explains why the show is crazy too.

I'm going to pull your spoiler out stingo ... sorry if anybody objects.

I think you are close, but not quite there ... Farouk infected David as a child, and all of these possibilities were before Clockworks or led to different places ... Farouk was still in all of the versions we saw. Just as every reality was different, David's usefulness to Farouk was different in each reality so Farouk's influence/presence was different in each.

For instance, "Dairy Delivery David" was medicated so his powers were suppressed ... until they weren't. Then Farouk pushed him to reveal how powerful he was.

"Billionaire David" seemed to be worth more to Farouk in that state, so Farouk didn't present himself or make himself known.

"Family David" and possibly "IRS David" seemed to be realities where he may have escaped the path of Farouk, never became of use to Farouk, or maybe didn't even have any powers (notice we saw different babies when they showed the babies, I think).

"Caveman David" and "Professor X David" both seemed to me to be alternate futures of "Dairy Delivery David" ... one where Amy died, David stayed on the streets, and Division 3 killed David (and Farouk/Shadow King); and one where Amy lived, David was crippled by the police bullet, and then he was overly medicated to control him.

"French Fry David" was simply a narrative element for the story.

I fucking love this show.
