I'm still enjoying it. Gonna see how it pans out in the long run, but seems par the course of last season's mysteries, even though most didn't realize a mystery/multiple timelines were happening.

I'm saddened and creeped out...yet still turned on. Looooves me some Clementine/Angela Sarafyan....

It did. THe first season had several storylines in different timelines that were all on their own easy to follow but how they fit together was complex. This season so far is just obtuse and obscure.

ok.

Maybe here at dvdtalk it was that way.

And most other online reviewers and ratings; most people were enthralled with Westworld and it's certainly one of the more popular HBO shows right now.

If you feel the reaction was poor, I'm glad I don't follow whatever communities you're a part of :p

Wow, wasn't expecting this much hate.

I'm still mostly enjoying the show. I just don't like the jumbled time-lines - I prefer straight "A-to-Z" narratives.

“Hate” is probably overstating it. Moreso disappointed so far, at least for me.

I just started watching S2 and I just finished this episode.

Wow, is this show depressing. Does it get any better? If not I'm just going to drop it.

It gets a little better but you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who loves Season 2. It was very disappointing. I was shocked that it got a bunch of Emmy nods.

I think I'm going to drop it here. Such a disappointment compared to last season. I just don't get any enjoyment from watching.

This is exactly where I dropped it as well. Didn't even watch all of ep3.

I thought it got a lot better, with the last 3 episodes being really good. But while I'd call Season 1 great, I'd call Season 2 just ok.

I'm kind of wondering if when the series returns it might be dubbed "Futureworld" to keep in tandem with the movies? Seems to me that all of the Westworld stuff has run its course. Then again, I'm of the school of thought that this needs to be approached as a four season series. Two seasons for Westworld, then two for Future.

I loved season 2. One of my favorite shows currently on.

The movies had an actual Futureworld attraction in the park. I can't see this happening unless there is a Futureworl section of the park we haven't seen yet.
