Did I buy that Rittenhouse agent's motivation for sabotaging this mission? No. It seemed like a big stretch and several characters had to act differently this episode to make the plot work.

I did enjoy Rufus realizing he couldn't die in this episode, so he started becoming fearless.

He made the same kind of error Fitz and Simmons made on Agents of Shield: even if you're guaranteed not to die you can get very, very badly hurt along the way if you're stupid about it.

Really? I bought it. I could see how she (and every woman) would have a personal stake in making sure history played out like it always had even if it went against her orders.

I liked that Rufus believed he wasn't going to die on this mission, but I also liked it when Flynn pointed out that Rufus could still be shot/injured.

I liked this episode. I thought it was going to be cliche with Lucy giving the speech, but they gave a nice twist.

Having the sleeper succeed was a nice slight twist to the routine. It sure does seem that they are setting up that Rittenhouse will fail because all their agents turn against them. Now it's Emma quickly realizing she may not to live in the world Rittenhouse is trying to create.

I'm inclined to agree. I liked this episode on the whole, except for the reasons behind it. Not particularly surprised by the reveal towards the end of the episode, either, although I'm not sure which direction they'll go with it.

Agreed, and if they have another season they can give that plot enough room to breathe. With three episodes left this season, and maybe in the series, I hope they don't try to rush a tidy conclusion.

I didn't either. She's going on about democracy when Rittenhouse itself is an anti-democratic cabal trying to run the world.
