Cool episode. Seg's friend Rhon being taken over by one of Brainiac's Sentry's was pretty freaky. Kind of reminded of The Borg in a way, especially how she hooked herself up to all those wires.

and Brainiac's big mother ship and his appearance are pretty creepy.

So I'm getting that his goal is basically to collect information and eventually destroy Krypton early and kill everyone so Kal-El will never be born.

How would he know who Kal-El is? His commentary when he receives news of Krypton suggests he doesn't know the future significance of Krypton.

I doubt we'll be seeing the Legion on this show, which is usually where time-travel related Superman plots originate.

Goyer says in this SyFy article that he's planning 7-8 seasons. Whether that happens is another story.

and Geoff Johns & Goyer confirm this has no connection to the current DC Universe.

But, Goyer won't rule out using Superman one day.


and from all the articles I've seen, they are vague about Brainiac and his intentions. So, I don't know if he really does have knowledge of future Kal-El or not, but his actions are impacting the present timeline with Superman slowly being wiped away.

At this point SyFy is all in on Krypton. It's getting at least four seasons unless something catastrophic happens and possibly more.

I expect we'll get costumed heroes guesting at some point for small cameos, possibly in the season two premiere.
