Yes, I think they're pretty accurate re: the timing here, as in previous seasons.
Wall Street hit theaters in early December 1987, so it makes sense that there would a "coming attraction" poster for this on the side of a theater in early October '87.

Just watched the episode again, and WOW, what an ending! Poor Paige is gonna have those images of her mom all bloodied up.
