Why doesn't a bullet to the forehead kill people on this show? I guess everyone is immortal except Fish Mooney?

The big problem this show has is no major characters ever die ! It makes deaths meaningless
We know Sofia Falcone will return
Good seeing kick ass Doc though and this episode was better because of minimal Bruce

Most of the main characters can't die because this is set prior to the Batman timeline... unfortunately, they've already got to the point that most of these villains have hit their prime, yet Gordon seems to be effective enough that the need for Batman seems non-existent. That and the show has painted Gordon mostly in a negative light, completely contrary to the character we've seen multiple times on other shows/movies/cartoons/comics.
The show has honestly reached a point where they should just send Bruce off to become Batman and end the show. It's still mostly enjoyable though, but there is only so much they can do without advancing Bruce further.
If they do kill off a character they have to bring them back, and then it just seems meaningless as others have commented above, because then everyone just seems immortal, or can somehow be completely brought back from the dead without consequence, such as Jerome.

Can they recast Bruce to move the timeline forward a few years ?
It's stupid seeing this little boy pretend to be early Batman

I also believe Bruce's limitations as an actor have slowed the roll on any development of the Selina-Bruce relationship. We are nearing 80 episodes into the series and I don't get anything from their interactions except as older sister/younger brother chemistry.

It's been obvious since the first episode that this was going to be about Gordon and the multitude of Gotham villains. It also wouldn't necessarily follow any kind of other Gotham City canon. I never expected anything different.

Yeah I feel like they changed their minds a couple seasons ago and upped the Batman stuff to make complaining fans happy. When this started, I never felt like I'd see as much of early Batman even by this current season; and that the show was always going to be about The City, the GCPD, Gordon, and the Villains...never really Batman.
People complain about Gordon being "dark" but I see it as a story arc headed towards the Gordon we know and love. He learns, he grows, and he evolves...
