Actually set an alarm this time and made such an un-Quack pick!

First time in awhile that I've gotten my pick that I initially wanted. My second and third are still available too.

That has a be a first though... I don't remember a draft where we didn't have at least 2 or 3 people fighting for the same player.

Neither do I, and nobody jumped the gun either.

Jeff thinks Libby could be the next Andrea. I almost went for her, but I was hoping she would still be left for round 2.

My second choice is gone (Desiree), but the other 3 on my list are still available.

Dang, second pick was hard. There were like 3 people I'd have been happy with. My first choice was going to be Laurel, but as usual lwhy? and I are thinking exactly the same...

I did next to no research this year. I watched the casting video on cbs.com and read a Jeff Probst preview article. There are still some good picks left on the board.

Yeah, that's about all I usually do. And as you can see by my track record it works at least 3% of the time.

Amazing Race is so much easier because you can sometimes tell based on physicality alone whether someone will do reasonably well or not...plus there are about half the contestants...
