I think it says a lot that a number of people have "The Orville" on their top shows list but very few have "Star Trek Discovery" on their list.

Teachers on TV Land is a cute comedy that gets surprisingly trashy, considering it's about elementary school teachers. It would be in my top ten if I put a list together.
The problem now is that you have to sample about 40-60 shows a year for these lists to mean anything. I get the feeling many of us don't have that kind of time anymore. Even with DVRs and streaming to manage it, there is just so much scripted content getting made today.
