That elimination favored Sylvia's side way too much... This was a fight episode of The Challenge where not much happened besides a big blowup between two people and an elimination challenge. The Challenge for next week looks insane. I'm looking forward to it.

Melissa will be back next week, right? Right?

That fight/argument was so boring and tame.

Re: The Challenge: Vendettas (MTV) -- Premieres 1/2/18

Veronica accused TJ of putting the ball way more on Melissa's side than Sylvia even though it appeared the other way in the edit. He responded and said he would never do that ever.

Also production was very unhappy Melissa lost because they wanted her back due to all the drama she was causing in the house and Sylvia is kinda a dud personality wise. Plus she was sick AGAIN which could affect the game if she won, which she did of course.

I also found it amusing when Jemmye said the reason to come on the challenge was to WATCH eliminations like that when usually they say the reason to come on the challenge is to PARTICIPATE in stuff like that. Jemmye is funny in her confessionals but is not a competitor in any way.

Really well designed challenge last night. Tony is in full on beast mode this season. I can't believe he swam the whole distance with just using one of breathing stations.

Yeah, Tony has been impressive in the challenges this season.

I actually enjoyed the "What would CT Do" after the episode. He was far more entertaining than I expected considering it at least seemed like most of his comments were off the cuff. I thought it was much better than most of these type of episodes.

For someone who has sucked in the previous challenges he is doing well.
Happy that Miz isnt around for this season. After Champs vs Stars & whatever special he hosted I've had enough of him for awhile.

Miz is currently hosting Season 3 of Champs vs Stars. Pretty interesting cast for that one.

Tony's like the Scottie Pippen to Bananas' MJ! Classic.

That analogy, along with Rodman, made me laugh pretty hard.

Me too. Especially since Kyle had no clue what Tony was talking about.

Miz is awesome. He's been killing it on WWE since they brought his wife back a few years ago. You could visibly see how much that boosted his confidence.

I promised myself if I decided to watch this year that I wouldn't complain about it, but I truly hate these half episodes where no one goes home.

I agree about the Miz. That said, I think he is better when they aren't feeding him his lines and he can sound less rehearsed. TJ can pull it off because he delivers them with that "been hit too many times in the head" manor that has become his trademark.

The last reunion show that he hosted was brutal b/c he was clearly trying too hard, but I thought he was fine in the Champs Vs. Stars.

Geez, just what the Challenge needs: more Aneesa. What is the fascination the show has with this woman? She can barely climb a flight of stairs. But I suppose it's someone Granny Veronica might actually have a shot at beating.

I can't wait for Derrick in a who wants it more challenge! We didn't really get one of those last year.

...and scanning through some of the challenger twitter feeds it appears next week's battle will be insane.

It's weird that Sylvia went home without any footage other then TJ saying so before the challenge.

She's such a turd. So we lost Melissa for no reason. Sylvia is like the Meg from Family Guy of the Challenges.

Eh, I don't think she's that bad. She's just kind of there and a normal person, so I guess she doesn't stand out or is less interesting on TV since there's not as much drama around her. I guess that explains why the editors didn't give her a more interesting exit...

Re: The Challenge: Vendettas (MTV) -- Premieres 1/2/18

Sylvia has a weak constitution. She has gotten severely sick on every challenge she has done i think. She is a decent competitor and clearly a fighter at least physically, but she isn't that personable and is too prone to being sick which has cost her on at least 2 shows.

Re: The Challenge: Vendettas (MTV) -- Premieres 1/2/18

Sylvia shouldn't get another call to be on the show ever again. If you get sick every season that you're on, you shouldn't be allowed to compete again. I fell the same way about Smashley. She left the show the last two Challenges she's been on (Dirty 30 and Champs vs Stars).

It's funny that Bananas was behind the notes. I didn't think it was him due to the handwriting, but he is the ultimate pot stirrer. I'm surprised he thought that far in advance to have his sister write the notes.

Oh yeah, I thought Bananas being behind the notes was great too. Totally didn't think it would be him because of the handwriting as well.
