DC's Legends of Tomorrow (S3E08) -- "Crisis on Earth-X, Part 4" -- 11/28/17

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 28

DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW

"Crisis on Earth-X, Part 4" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

THE EPIC FOUR-WAY CROSSOVER WITH "ARROW," "SUPERGIRL," "THE FLASH" AND "DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW" CONCLUDES - Barry (guest star Grant Gustin) and Iris's (guest star Candice Patton) wedding brings the gang together, but things go awry when villains from Earth-X attack the ceremony. All of the superheroes band together with help from their super friends like Citizen Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller), The Ray (guest star Russell Tovey), Felicity Smoak (guest star Emily Bett Rickards), Iris West and Alex Danvers (guest star Chyler Leigh) to take on their most formidable villains yet. Earth's mightiest heroes - Green Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell), Supergirl (guest star Melissa Benoist), The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin) and White Canary (Caity Lotz) - lead their teams into battle to save the world. Gregory Smith directed the episode with story by Marc Guggenheim & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Phil Klemmer & Keto Shimizu (#308). Original airdate 11/28/2017.

Remember, you have to watch Parts 1-3 on Supergirl, Arrow and The Flash for this crossover to make sense. It's a serialized 4-parter.

You're a gangbanger.

Wow, did they really just do that? Damn, they did.

Funny how we have seen more of Firestorm in these 4 episodes than we have in all 3 seasons of LoT.

Opposite Snart was great.

Weak that we only got Diggle at the end.

It is pretty hilarious that these four episodes was ten times more entertaining than both BvS and JL combined.

Re: DC's Legends of Tomorrow (S3E08) -- "Crisis on Earth-X, Part 4" -- 11/28/17

That was awesome.

Great 4-parter. I really don't know if they can continue to do these yearly though. But, this was a hell of a lot better than the Dominators arc last season.

I was actually quite violent. But, that was a pretty epic final sequence.

Stein dying was rough. Franz Drameh isn't a great actor, but he tried his best and poured his heart out in those scenes, especially at the funeral. Surprised they didn't retire the character as they seemed to be planning and went the dramatic death route.

Now the big question is What happens to Jax now? Does he have any powers now?

The double wedding at the end was an interesting surprise. Finally now we don't have to deal with the will they or won't they stuff with Oliver and Felicity anymore.

Mick to Sara= Did you hit that?

Definitely better that last years crossover. Wonder how they top it next year? Will Black Lightning be part of the mix?

Jax will probably still be Firestorm without Stein.

This was a hell of a lot of fun and way more heart than BvS and JL; heck, I liked it more than a lot of the recent Marvel movies. Great to see The Ray who’s always been a character I liked, and I admit to choking up a bit over the fate of Stein. Great fun all around.

I think you’re taking that to mean something other then what was intended in the show.

So why was it so surprising that they said that word?
It really wasn’t. Surprising at all.

Did you not even watch the scene? Jesus. He mixed up the word gangbanger and doppelganger. That was funny

Really liked this year's crossover but don't understand why they don't use J'onn J'onzz in them. Would love to see the Martian Manhunter fight alongside all these superheroes.

That was good. Liked all the references throughout the 4 parter; especially the High Castle one.

Now, I wish they would at the very least do an animated movie of the original story.

I thought he did a great job, and during the scene where Stein died I thought "I wonder why we didn't get a chance to see Nazi Jax" then I realized why and laughed at being an idiot.

Really enjoyed this! Still amazed they can do this in the middle of shooting all these shows. I could only imagine if they had more time. Some great lines and some pretty cool surprises.

I really thought since Roy (Snarts boyfriend) was from Earth 1 that he would have stayed and was going to tie into Firestorm somehow. Surprised Snart stayed behind.

It made sense that Martian didn't make it as it was a wedding for Barry that was suppose to be a weekend thing.

A good read, and I totally agree

The Year's Best 'Justice League' Movie Didn't Need Batman Or Superman

I'm surprised we didn't get an evil Nazi Superman.

What I took away from this crossover? Overgirl and Nazi Green Arrow had a really loving marriage. I can't believe both were killed off.

This crossover was far more ambitious than any prior CW crossover. They must have blown out the budget.

I did not like at all how Flash just let Reverse Flash leave. That was poor chacterization forced upon us I suspect for time reasons.

Couldn't they attempt to find a replacement that would be compatible with Jax? Jax himself was a replacement for Ronnie after all.

Yep. It was definitely a moving few scenes.

Well, they still haven't visited Earth 3 to meet the Crime Syndicate...

I'm betting he ends up being a recurring character somehow. Not sure about Firestorm, but there will no doubt be some sort of repercussions from his time with Stein.

The Crime Syndicate kept popping into my head whenever Overgirl, Dark Arrow, and Thawne were together.

Next week's trailer shows the Legends possibly encountering a time lost younger Martin Stein (again). Maybe that's they're Firestorm fix.

Man, I enjoyed this crossover so much I'm kind of bummed I wont be watching another chapter tonight.

I thought for sure when they introduced The Ray he was going to be Firestorm's replacement.

Ah yes, replace the character we don't see often because of budget constraints with another one will won't see often because of budget constraints.
