Apologies, I screwed up. I hate spoilers as much as the next guy and I just thought this was an open discussion. I'll spoilerize from now on under any circumstance.

Why are you bitching at him for? Half this thread is full of uncovered spoilers. It's been months since the series came out, people have stopped protecting their spoilers on the assumption most people have seen it. If you haven't, don't read the thread.

Wow, you sure told me!

As for the series, I really enjoyed it, and thought it was a pretty fitting ending for the most part, but there's nothing creepier than seeing Walt Longmire smile. Just doesn't fit his persona, and it looks so unnatural.

As for spinoffs, if I had to pick a character to follow, it would be Mattias.

Finish watching the final episode and really enjoyed watching the show, kind of sad there be no more season. I'm curious on the last scene.
Spoiler:
Who called Walt on his cellphone? I'm going to guess is Vic who checking out on Walt new cellphone.

Spoiler:
Chances are it's Vic but it doesn't really matter. I guess the whole point was to show that after fighting it for so long, Walt finally got a cell phone, symbolizing his being able to move on?

Guessing Vic is living with Walt now as well, when he's around? Ferg might be getting married? Cady may become Sheriff (although come on, have her first name on the campaign sign since her father has had the gig for years....a bit confusing, no?). Henry is running the casino. Maybe Cady & Zack end up together?

There's enough hints for the future to make it a proper sendoff.

Spoiler:
I saw it as a set up for a possible continuation somewhere down the line. In case they wanted to relaunch the series, or do a couple of stand alone movies.

I'm late to all of this since I just started watching the show this year, but I finished it this morning and have to say that I liked the last 2 seasons. I never cared for the Branch character and liked when the showed moved on from it and his dad.

I HATED the whole Vic/Walt thing. It always felt forced and it never made sense. I was cringing as it unfolded in the last episode. His daughter becoming sheriff is not as far off as some think, but it was too fast for it to have happened. If they had planted that seed like they did the Vic Walt thing, then it would have felt more like a natural evolution etc.

Overall, I enjoyed the ride of the 6 seasons.
