Not a lot of champs on the "Champs" team.

The return of The Messiah!

A lot of people turn them down for this season. I have heard Wes say on a podcast how grueling it is for them to do a full Challenge, the spinoff, and another Challenge essentially back to back to back. I know Bananas said no, because he thought he was going to be on Celebrity Big Brother. Emily also turned them down too. This is the only Challenge Wes will do anymore since they will let you have your phone and computer back at the end of the day. That lets him be able to do some work with his startup businesses.

Plus they don't have to travel abroad, they stay in a hotel/resort, and from what I can tell the entire season films in maybe two weeks.

I was hoping that Bananas was going to be on Celebrity Big Brother after hearing the rumors. It's hard to imagine him being on that season now since most of the cast didn't seem to have much interest in actually competing with each other.

For me, I don’t consider these real Challenge seasons. I watched the first and was bored and skipped the second one and will skip this too. When they do another real Challenge season, I will absolutely be tuning in. I hope Laurel returns and that Melissa girl from the UK. They need to find a way to “rig” things to make sure she goes far.

I follow all the casting spoilers (just casting spoilers since I like to watch the show without knowing who already won...). It sounds like Laurel may be going to Veterinarian school and retiring except if she comes back as a mercenary for an episode or two....

Plus, it has to fit around Miz's packed schedule though he will probably be taking some time off from the road after 'mania b/c Maryse just had the baby.

New season starts tonight after the Vendettas finale.

So in the first week we lose one of the few "stars" that I had heard of. At this point, I think the biggest star is the host.

Yeah, it sucked that Arian got kicked out first. He was eating Tony's lunch during the nomination section which was hilarious. I really liked his quiet confidence and wanted to see more of him.

Amazing how Tony let last season get to his head.

And he didn't even win any money! His "big moves" got him to eliminated last.

His ego is incredible and it doesn't help when chicks talk about how hot he is every season.

Had to smile when Miz mentioned owning Arian Foster in fantasy. Drafted him before his first full season in a deep keeper league and owned him his entire career. Disagree with Devin about Foster being a Hall of Famer though; way too many RBs putting up huge numbers recently also injured constantly. Sad to see he still has knee/leg problems.

Tony is really coming off like an ass here. So is Devin to be honest.

I guess Drake does something really shady on the show which a lot of people were upset by. No specifics but will be interesting to see if MTV airs any of it.

Killer Kam!

Re: The Challenge: Champs vs. Stars (MTV) -- Series Thread

Kam is annoying but I am beginning to think that the Hennessy chick may be the most annoying person ever. Where do they find some of these people?

Re: The Challenge: Champs vs. Stars (MTV) -- Series Thread

Hennessy is the sister of Cardi B.

I am a 45 year old male. That tells me nothing.

Well, I'm a 47 year old male and I know who Cardi B is.

You can read this recent Saturday Night Live thread wherein DVDTalkers try to understand who Cardi B is: https://forum.dvdtalk.com/tv-talk/64...g-cardi-b.html

I'm glad to see Kam finally lose an elimination. This season has been pretty good so far. The Champs and Stars are much more evenly matched in strategy this time around.

Hennessy has to "protect her brand."

Why wasn't she kicked off the show after she hit Devon with her glasses? She apparently hit him so hard that she broke them.... CT is such a beast. I bet he could have been a professional athlete if he wasn't so concerned with drinking, smoking, and hitting people during his twenties....

Re: The Challenge: Champs vs. Stars (MTV) -- Series Thread

Well Hurricane Smashley just blew through the Champs Vs Stars hotel. Aneesa's ankles must be made of glass, because it seems like she's always injuring her ankles. Even though the Challenges are somewhat toned down on this spinoff, it seems like people are getting hurt more than on the regular Challenge.
