Random person finds balloon diapers; balloons have the name of the town they are living in on them.

The show really seems to be aimless.
They get guest appearances that only last a few episodes and then they're back to where they were.
Bringing in Jasper and kids (and more kids) will be painting themselves into corners story line wise.
I liked that the show didn't concentrate solely on survival as the last people on earth, but it's barely even part of the story line anymore. They need to get back to some of that.

The goofy, random things Tandy does to entertain himself are the best bits in the show. While they have to have some sort of story going to connect the bits together I can't see how bringing half a dozen toddlers into the show is going to do anything but distract away from what made the show funny and interesting in the first place. And to think I thought it was a horrible idea when they added Jasper (which it was).

The show is still amusing and occasionally funny, but I think I'm out after this season. The story's not going anywhere and the characters aren't evolving, so it's all just...there.

I bailed during S2...for all the reasons everyone else is talking about.
It's too bad, it was a great idea for a show.

I wish Fox execs would cancel this instead of holding January Jones prisoner

The babies on this show are hogging up all the screen time. I watch this show for Will Forte, not Yasir Hashim Lafond!

They have to repopulate the Earth somehow... maybe they're building up to a finale that takes place far in the future, with the principle cast way old and/or dead, with their kids grown up, with kids of their own, showing a pathway for human survival, albeit in a funny light, I would hope.

Holy shit! Good reveal at end on someone coming back. Props to Forte for going there again.

He got sick (they believed it was the infection), and then he asked them to leave him to die in peace at their family home.
But I could swear Tandy went back at some point and gave no indication he wasn't dead or that his body was missing or something. So yeah, I must be forgetting some detail.

When Tandy went home, Lewis convinced him not to look in Mike's room, so he could always have some hope that his brother was still alive and well. Basically Schrödinger's brother, but we never saw either way.

And that's the season. This is one of those shows that's on the edge of cancellation, right?
Pretty big cliffhanger. But to follow through on it, pretty much changes the whole set-up. But with all of the babies, I think they're reaching the point where the story can't reasonably continue. I'm about ready for a limited number of final episodes to wrap things and put the series to rest. It would be nice to have an ending, instead of just cancellation.

It was neat seeing Tandy being the only one acting like an adult with the idea of staying.
So Tandy/Mike drive a long way to look at that heat source, find nothing and drive all the way back. Meanwhile that large group of people start following them from that location by walking.
Tandy and gang wind up leaving the drug lord house and drive for a while (a few hours at least?) and stop at this farm. That large group have already caught up to them by simply walking?
It was a really weird way to get rid of a character they shouldn't have added in the first place (Jasper).
