I agree about Larroquette but it’s not enough to hurt my enjoyment of the show. His parts are by far the weakest parts of the show.

I’m assuming Alex’s mom is dead during the Moynihan segments, was there any reference to it?

$0.02 - we are finding this the funniest comedy on. Love that they don't go with the usual tropes for the step-brother, step-father etc. They both try to help in their own ways. Some real fun LOL moments here and there as well.

In the pilot, when Alex visits Ron in the present day there is a reference to mother messing up the food that they are eating. In another episode, Alex and his daughter go over and the daughter mentions going to grandma while Alex and Ron talk. It's odd that they haven't shown the mom in the present day.

Finally Mom showed up during Moynihan's segments!

One thing I like about this show is that they didn't make Ron a jerk. When he first showed up, I thought that he was going to be a jerk, but he's been great.

Re: Me, Myself and I (CBS) -- S: Bobby Moynihan, John Larroquette

I have yet to watch Monday's latest episode that is on my tivo, but the ratings are bleak (less than 5m viewers), I guess the only possible saving grace is that Deadline reports that CBS is aware that the show has developed a small but loyal fanbase so we shall see. It is a charming show and I hope it survives but I am pragmatic and will enjoy it while I can.

CBS rarely gives new shows any leeway. Unless it pops or becomes an Internet sensation, I don't think it's going to survive.

Casting related (possible) spoiler:

Spoiler:

Vanessa Williams is set to join the CBS comedy Me, Myself & I in a recurring role opposite John Larroquette. The Emmy-nominated actress will play Kelly Frasier, Older Alex Riley’s (Larroquette) arch-rival who eventually becomes his love interest.

I'm not surprised by it being pulled. It was a great show, but did poorly in the ratings.

I imagine that the remaining episodes will show up on CBS All Access. They did that for the quickly canceled Jane Lynch sitcom from a few years back.

The point is.... it's a good show so whatever # of hours you have saved are an opportunity to watch that many hours of entertainment.

It's an episodic comedy--it's not a LOST-like mythology for heaven's sake. Get a few laughs.

It's a shame. We were really enjoying this show. Had the right amount of comedy as well as a good amount of feels.

This one was growing on me. Had some really good moments. Not liking basketball, his passion for all things Jordan did get tiresome though.

Sorry to see it's been pulled. I had low expectations in the beginning but was really enjoying it.

I wish Keenan Thompson could get his own sitcom so we won't have to see him on SNL anymore.

I like him, but I'm tired of him on SNL.
