I'm hoping the White Walkers get far enough South that they raise undead Rhaegar Targaryen who has to fight Jon Snow in his crimson armor.

We all know it's gonna end with one of them stabbing the other in the back. Whether that'll be Jaime or Cersei doing the stabbing remains to be seen. I think GRRM would have made it Jaime, but his arc is way different from the books, he is a lot more loyal to Cersei in the show.

RE: Arya and Sansa - I don't think they figured it out right away. I think the scene with Arya and Sansa in the bedroom happened and THEN they plotted against Sansa. I mean, if Arya was gonna off Sansa and take her place, it would have happened right there. I think Littlefinger's plot fell apart right there, when Arya gave the knife to Sansa instead of murdering her or whatever. Presumably they gathered together in secret with Bran after that and asked him questions about what happened, and there the plot develops. I think Peytr pushed just a bit too hard on Sansa and it spawned them banding together instead of turning on each other like he wanted. Could have been after the convo with Sansa with the "assume the worst" talk, also, that was definitely a little heavy handed. I get he is getting a bit desperate, the chaos he created has started to recede into order as folks band together again, so I get why he had to do something. Made sense to me. But I would have expected more proof to be required to give to the Knights of the Vale, and Littlefinger admitting the murder of Lysa so easily seemed atypical of his character.

I think Peter's "assume the worst" speech just backfired spectacularly. She knows Littlefinger is dubious, and as she went through the thought experiment with Arya she realized it was actually all him.

I'm trying to think of any moderate-importance characters or higher that are no longer on the show but managed to survive. Only Daario and Meera come to mind, and they could possibly come back next season. I'm not counting Ellaria as among the living, as she's toast. Everyone else is either still alive and kicking or dead.

Yep, that's what I think too. And it is a much cleaner explanation than "Arya and Sansa had a dramatic confrontation in a room by themselves in the hopes that Littlefinger had his ear pressed to the door".

I think the implication was that Bran told Sansa the truth about Littlefinger. It's the first time they showed him in court instead of sitting out by the Heart Tree. The point being that Sansa had new information from the Three Eyed Raven. It was just very convenient that this information was withheld until the season finale. Apparently there was a cut scene from the finale between Sansa and Bran where the audience would be clued into this.
It's a bit frustrating, if a villain had access to an omniscient plot device like Bran we'd be rolling our eyes at how easily they can clean up their messes.

I had forgotten about Ellaria Sand and her daughter, guess I'm supposed to as nobody in Jon and Dany's little negotiation party bothered asking about them. I would like to think that maybe
, but I doubt we'll even get that.

Did the Blackfish really die as Jaimie claimed? Is Syrio Forel= Jaqen H'ghar? Will Dolorous Edd make it alive as the night king went around Castle Black.
How about Ilyn Payne. Arya has stopped mentioning him on her list. Is he going to survive because ironically the actor playing him died in real life?
i actually think the show has done a good job editing the books down. Martin is still adding new characters and having the main characters spinning their wheels and it is very late in the books. No other network could have done this series justice.

Every indication is that he did, so don't expect him to make a comeback. Besides, why would he? He's a pretty obscure character in the scheme of things. I agree though that it was a very odd, and unsatisfying, end for him after that great dialogue between he an Jaime just a few minutes earlier.
Here is the director talking about the creative decision to have him die off camera:

I cannot agree with Mylod on this one. There should have at least been a moment of Blackfish drawing his sword or charging into the fray or something, even if he doesn't actually die on camera. OTOH, I agree with him 100% on how The Waif died off camera. That was perfectly handled and I'm a little surprised anyone would have complained about it.
You would have thought that Arya would have released him or that one of the Frey women, now that all of the Frey men are dead, would release him. He is married to one of them after all. In fact, for all we know, he might now be the heir to House Frey.
He may show up again next season leading combined Frey/Tully forces in support of Dany at some key moment, but it would be easier for the writers to just pretend that he (along with Houses Frey and Tully) no longer exists so my guess is that is what they will do.

Edmure Tully will be like Huell on BB waiting forever to be released from Riverrun.

It's cool, we have a season of Westworld, Better Call Saul, Bojack in a few weeks, two Star Wars movies between now and then.

It's going to be a long wait, but we survived this season's delay from March to July so we'll survive this one too.

So overall, I would rank the seasons 3, 4, 6, 2, 1, 5, 7. With Spoils of War sneaking into my top ten episodes.
One thing that worries me about the last season is the Night King, he is a bad ass but there is not much backstory on him, so I don't find him that compelling as a villain. One thing I love about the show is that most of the characters have shades of grey, but with the NK he's just presented as the typical evil bad guy wanting to destroy the world. My concern it will end up like LOST, where the last season introduced MIB/Jacob and their stories were not that interesting and I really didn't care.
