The Strain (S4E05) -- "Belly of the Beast" -- 8/13/17

Fet and Quinlan are hot on the trail of a convoy carrying their prized nuclear weapon. Eph and Alex search for clues to uncover the Master's plan for the ultimate fate of the human race. Dutch is trapped by a familiar enemy, yet encounters an old friend as well. Teleplay by Jeff Wadlow; directed by Roberto Barba.

Immediately thought of this when Quinlan cut the SUV with his sword

This show is really limping toward its end, isn't it?

I liked the Quinlan flashback and I like the Eichorst scenes and how Dutch asks him about the whole facade he's playing.

We're halfway there.

Amusing that Eichorst thinks he has free will.

The end of the show. 10 episodes this season.

Sorry, that was sarcasm (feels as if we are going nowhere).

I mean, really? Halfway through the final season we are going to stop for a Quinlan origin flashback that, while somewhat interesting, added nothing to the progression of the story.

I suppose the storylines (Dutch/Setrakian, Fet/Quinlan, and Eph/hot lady) picked up a little momentum, but these developments should have been happening 2 or 3 episodes ago.
