This reviewer watched it and said it's horrendous SD 360p 2-channel audio quality & water mark heavy. You're better off waiting and watching the official HD airing on HBO tonight.

Everybody's so stiff in that promo shot that it appears that we'll be seeing the Madame Tussaud version tonight.

Maybe it was cheaper to hire Jim Henson productions to produce in a budget-cutting move.

I have HBO Now, but I couldn't help myself. Impatience got the best of me and I watched it. It's an epic episode with a battle scene that rivals the Blackwater and Battle of the Bastards. I was on the edge of my seat. I'll watch it again tonight.

Really, posting even mild spoilers before the episode airs is not cool. Glad it's a good episode though.

Episode Title: Spoils of War
Episode Description: Daenerys fights back.

Take your complaint up with HBO and tell them they should release episodes without titles or descriptions so you have no idea what to expect. Or better yet, just avoid the TV Talk forum on Sundays until you've seen the episode

I'm very upset that by HBO's advertising and promotion of the very existence of Game of Thrones, I was robbed of the wonder of randomly stumbling across it.

Actually the Ayra thing is the mild spoiler, especially in light of last week's speculation.

HBO Now is for people who want HBO and either don't have cable or don't want to pay for it via cable. They pay $15/month a la carte.

HBO Go is for folks with a cable/satellite subscription. Content is all the same.

GOT won't be available on either until tonight when it airs.

I think Decker has a point, just mentioning the battle scene is still a mild spoiler for people that want to go in completely fresh. I think the episode descriptions from HBO are one thing since it's official, but I can see how alluding to something from a leaked episode you saw isn't cool for some people.

He's not saying he saw it via HBO Now, but that he has the service but couldn't resist watching the leaked episode rather then waiting for it tonight.

Yeah, it won't be available on either until 9E/6P tonight. He was talking about having watched an illegal stolen copy that made its way around the Internet. I just said that we shouldn't discuss anything about the episode until it officially airs tonight.

Only that HBO Go won't air an hour after prime time. HBO Now will air on time.

For an example, GoT starts at 9pm EST, but HBO Go won't show it till an hour later. That's what I have noticed.

So counting tonight's episode there is essentially one season left (10 episodes), though allegedly some of these were supposed to be "super-sized" episodes - not that any have been so far.

Looks like episodes 6 and 7 are the longer ones, although the rest of these seem like they've just been a few minutes longer.

https://winteriscoming.net/2017/06/0...on-7-revealed/

HBO has revealed the runtimes for each of the seven episodes in Game of Thrones season 7. We already knew that the first episode would run for 59 minutes, a respectable length. We also knew that Episodes 2 and 3 would run for 59 minutes and 63 minutes respectively, the longest second and third episodes in the show’s history. Now we have the rest of the story, as revealed on HBO’s website.

Episode 1: 59 minutes
Episode 2: 59 minutes
Episode 3: 63 minutes
Episode 4: 50 minutes
Episode 5: 59 minutes
Episode 6: 71 minutes
Episode 7: 81 minutes

Anyone really hate Headly's wig? Shouldnt her hair have grown back by now? Euron sure changed, hard to believe he could build that fleet in short amount of time seems ridiculous. How much time between S6 & 7?

One example of about 20 in the past season and a half where we have to suspend disbelief in terms of time elapsed.

My instinct would be to say that the series takes place in real time, ie, each season covers a year. This accounts for the aging of the actors.

Of course little Sam should be about five by now...

Damn... Benioff and Weiss letting Sunny return the favor. Hell of job directing by Matt Shakman.

That was cool. Liked how they made you both root for and against Bronn and Jamie. I have a feeling Danerys may be about to show her true colors.
