I just watched the first episode. Is this going to be a straight up horror/thriller anthology or will each episode be different?

The first episode and the preview for the next episode definitely make it look like a horror/thriller anthology. Just checking. I have tried to cut back on scary shows recently. I thought the first one was really well done. I could think of 2 possible things that could have happened.
1. The babysitter was really crazy.
2. The kid was crazy and the dad left him with a babysitter with hopes that the babysitter might finish him off.

I just heard a promo on a podcast. That's what they said - different genres for different episodes.

This week's episode is my favourite so far--until it's too abrupt ending. I felt like this one had the potential to be developed into a feature. It was intriguing, and began to get creepy with the suggestion there may be something supernatural going on with the woman, and the procedure was horrifying. It just ended way too early.
Still, an excellent episode, and cool to see Candyman acting in something again.

I've been enjoying this, but one thing that bothers me is the failure to make the hotel feel like a part of the show. It doesn't have an atmosphere, I don't feel any sense of its history, or mystery.
In fact, thinking over the shows played so far, Ep 2 is arguably the only one that needed to take place in a hotel room. I wouldn't be surprised if the original story for Ep 1 was conceived of being at the family house. I think the genesis of this series was less the creators being interested in the occupants of a single hotel room than the creators figuring a good way to slash their budget was filming the whole series in a single, small set.

After seeing 3 episodes (I haven't catch up yet), I'm getting the feeling Tale of the Crypt vibe.

This week's episode is the one the picture in the above poster is taken from.
It's a good example of how a shorter show allows you to experiment. This one didn't have a traditional narrative, it was essentially an interpretive dance routine. I'm not really into dancing, but for the twenty minute duration, I was intrigued and able to appreciate it. Anything longer and I probably would have gotten bored, but this felt just right.
After the past few months of Twin Peaks, it was nice to watch something surreal and cryptic without it feeling frustrating. This is a good episode.

Just asking a question.
Seems their name gets put into the topic title as if it is a big thing that the show was created by them.
