I love this show but I don't feel like there's a whole lot to discuss. It's a pretty straightforward story and lacks some of the depth that a show like The Wire has.

Binged Seasons 2-4 in a week in anticipation of the Season 5 premiere next week (saw 1st season months ago), really good. Definitely not The Wire, but good writing and acting. S04E04 death was shocking and heartbreaking.

In season five of Snowfall, Franklin (Damson Idris) and family are rich beyond their wildest dreams and on the verge of having everything they've wanted as the ground begins to fall out from beneath their feet. The streets of South Central Los Angeles have never been so dangerous, but the biggest threat the family faces are each other as they try not to let greed, resentment and ego tear them all apart. It still seems crazy to me that barely anyone watches this show. I think many here on this forum would like it. I'm also surprised it has lasted 5 seasons. |

Yeah, this show has flown under the radar for 4 seasons. I finished season 4 last month in anticipation of 5 so I'm all caught up. Great show :up:

Zipped through most of the seasons like I was it was crack :lol:. Very good show Not sure if anyone here noticed, but Lucia's mom and Reed/Teddy's dad were Gina and Zito on "Miami Vice" There's some interesting behind the scenes stuff up on YouTube, John Singleton remembrance, shut down of Season 4 due to pandemic, etc. |

Liked the ending, thought he would get killed or end up in prison again though, not the fate I was expecting. Nice nod to John Singleton and Boyz N The Hood in that last episode.

Fitting end for Saint. Enjoyed this show. Not amazing but underrated.
